RED FOR PALESTINE 🇵🇸
What’s happening in Palestine and in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood specifically?
Residents of the Jerusalem neighborhood Sheikh Jarrah are facing violent expulsion from their homes.
This is part of Israel’s plan to dispossess Palestinians from their land and Judaize Jerusalem. Sheikh Jarrah is evidence of the ongoing Nakba - the ethnic cleansin of Palestiniasns by the settler colonial state.
On May 2 the Israeli “Supreme Court” responded to an appeal from the residents of Sheikh Jarrah. Instead of rejecting the unjust “eviction” orders against them, the court told the residents to come to an agreement with the Jewish settlers who were forcing them out.
Residents refused to give up their homes, and the court postponed its “ruling” to May 10.
Since May 2, the situation in Sheikh Jarrah has escelated to resemble a war zone.
For right-wing settler organizations marched the streets of Jerusalem chanting “Death to Arabs” and brutally assaulting Palestinian youth. For 3 consecutive days, Zionist military forces raided homes, physically assaulted residents, including women and elders, and arrested Palestinian youth defending their homes of Palestinian Families.
Yesterday, a far right-wing settler group set up in Sheikh Jarrah a taunt and harrased Palestinian Families during Iftar. The group pepper sprayed residents and threw rocks at them as they broke their fast.
Zionist forces made more arrests, invaded homes and are currently dispersing protestors, press and medical personnel outside of the neighborhood using skunk and sewage water and tear gas.
The situation has continued to escalate, with settlers using live and rubber bullets on home defenders. A zionist mob beat up a Palestinian protestor, a Palestinian was stabbed by a settler, and homes continue to be invaded.
Last night, Israeli occupation forces attacked worshipers at and inside Al Aqsa mosque. They threw stun and tear gas grenades inside the mosque, closed the gates of all exists and locked the worshipers inside the mosque, including women and children.
Over 163 Palestinians were injured in the occupied city of Jerusalem during Israeli occuption forces assaults in Al Aqasa mosque, Damascus Gate and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
The Israeli army attacked, opened fire and threw grenades at a clinic inside Al Awsa mosque Compound, where the Palestinians who were injured by the same fire few moments before where receiving medical care.
This violent Zionist agression must end.
Help save Sheikh Jarrah and stop this colonial violence.

THIS IS WHAT THE IDF DOING TO PALESTINIANS
THE MEDIA DOESN'T SHOW YOU THIS
Kashmir and Palestine are two of the most important questions of our times. Both of them being the oldest disputes on the agenda of the United Nations. Over the decades Israel and the Indian state have established a relationship based on domination and persecution of the oppressed populations. But at the same time, the Palestinians and the Kashmiris have also formed an intersectional solidarity network. We take a look a brief look at the history of Kashmir's solidarity with Palestine. But beyond timelines and events, Kashmiris have, over decades, exhibited a consistent and unconditional solidarity with Palestinians- found resonance in their struggle for justice, dignity and freedom. Today, we reiterate our support for the people of Palestine and join hands in demanding an end to the Israeli apartheid. Waving my flag
Once more to the fray
For all men should die
In the waves of the marching day
My stone and scarf tell the words of freedom
Me and my people are forbidden to say
The hounds unleashed thirsty for blood
Thus hounds forgot a lion is no prey”
