Now, this next author holds dear place in my heart: @redgillan . Not only was she one of the first AU authors that I read on A03. She was also one of the first people I interacted with when I started writing for Marvel, even if it was in a offhanded sort of way through her Steve Birthday challenge. Maisie never turned down my enthusiasm or participation for writing so much for Steve, and that eased my novice self a lot.
In regard to her stories, I love how Maisie takes some stories and though she states its based on one thing, the story becomes completely her own with interactions and personalities that just steal your heart. She had me rooting for Hades!Bucky and feeling a lot of emotions for him, when the good guy is supposed to be someone else. Maisie has a way with words that has you thinking a completely different thing when the answer seems straightforward. I love how she manages to give Bucky different aspects that shine in each of her stories. And while there might be something series going on, there is still room for laughter -- like with Stripper Steve. So if you want a little bit of everything, consider checking her stuff out:
