Jamie reunited with Sam at the bar.

Jamie: what are you doing?

Samael: exchanging number with this pretty lady, why?

Jamie: let's get drunk

Samael: hell yeah!

For the rest of the night, Jamie and Samael decided to let themselves go and forget all their worries.

Unfortunately, Jamie's mind wasn't in the proper place.

There was a pretty human on his lap, willing to have everything done to him until Jamie satiated his urges, and he was unable to transform and bite him.

He couldn't bite him.

That would mean going back to his previous self, the one manipulated and used as a puppet, and he couldn't let himself become that Jamie again.
