Als Hauptnahrungsquelle dienen kleine Säugetiere wie Wühlmäuse, andere Vögel oder Aas.

Red kite and my awkward daughter who also works for royalty

My girl Amulet, like Red kite works for Royalty, but instead of being a guard she’s a royal librarian who’s extremely awkward unless she’s rambling about history.

Her boss is the queens uncle and is the only royalty family member shes ever actually met. Shes also a Seawing silkwing hybrid :)

Red Kites aren't very frequent visitors to Wildlife Aid, however, after this beautiful bird flew in to their window, the homeowners quickly contained it and monitored its condition for a few hours. As the birds condition slowly improved, they thought it best to bring the kite in for an examination to check for any injuries. Luckily, our vet team found the bird to be injury free, although shocked from the impact.
