brallie is the worst
ughhh it really is.
i hate how it’s being played as endgame when it’s actually an unhealthy dynamic? like callie only ever runs to brandon when she thinks there’s no other alternative. that is not love. that is not what a relationship is supposed to be.
not to mention how messed up it is that they’re adopted siblings now (not blood related but it’s still gross). callie needs the love and support of a family way more than she needs brandon in her life tbh.
i’m beyond pissed that we have to put up with this bullshit storyline.
OMG THANK U FOR REBLOGGING MISS FISCHER IVE NEVER SEEN IT ON TUMBLR BEFORE THIS IS SO EXCITING
I HADN’T EITHER
I LITERALLY JUST STARTED WATCHING IT BUT I CAN’T STOP AND I LOVE IT A LOT
Imagine (before they get together) Ilya accidentally tells Gaby he loves her on a mission. As much embarrassment/awkwardness from him as possible. thank you!!
The mission really only needed one of the three U.N.C.L.E.agents. It was a small job, a favor almost. A friend of Waverly’s requestedassistance. The maid of a rather notable family in Scotland had absconded withthe riches. It was a complicated heist but not a complicated retrieval. Perfectfor Napoleon to slip in and steal back the intrinsic items. The family’s estatewas vast, stretching for acres on the Scottish countryside. It was a ratherbeautiful sight, the leaves on the trees were turning vibrant colors in preparationfor fall and winter. The rolling hills still had vibrant green grass, causing asharp contrast against the seemingly endless blue expanse above of them.
Illya and Gaby were keeping watch outside, making sure thatno one caught wind of Solo’s entrance and attempt to make off with theheirlooms. It was a pointless position, Solo had done this sort of grab and gothing a dozen times. The only upside was that it gave Illya the chance to bealone with Gaby for the first time in a while.
A crisp autumn breeze blew past them, grabbing Ms. Teller’sbrown locks with it. The German’s eyes closed against the slight wind, hereyelashes touching the tops of her slightly reddened cheeks. Illya watched her,she was so delicate, but strong and passionate. She seemed to fit in perfectlyalong the stunning landscape behind her. Or yet, completed the picture.
The Russian wanted nothing more than to be with her, he hadnever before felt such emotion towards another person and he longed for her tobe with him. To be his. Illya sighed inwardly and turned to look away from Gabyand took a few steps in the opposite direction from her to start scouting theperimeter of the estate once more. Checking windows and doors, peaking insideto make sure there was no commotion going about.
He was a few meters ahead of Gaby when he stopped, satisfiedthat the situation was still under control. Illya didn’t want to look back athis partner, looking at her was only a reminder of the distance that was stillbetween them. Approaching the edge of the property, Kuryakin scanned the lushslopes around them once more.
Gaby spoke up, catching him off guard slightly. He spun tolook at her, the small mechanic suddenly behind him. Illya took a step back. Hiseyebrows rose and there was no way he heard what he thought he did, but thatdidn’t stop him from responding.
“I love you too.” Illya admitted, the words feeling bettercoming off his chest than expected. Gaby’s eyes widened and her mouth gaped abit. Illya suddenly realized that she hadn’t said that she loved him.
“You…. You what?” She asked staring up at the KGB agent.
“I, uh, um. You, what.” He stumbled over his accent, attemptingto correct his speech. Suddenly forgetting how to speak English. Illya couldfeel his cheeks darken, this was not what he expected. Embarrassed and slightlymortified, he took another step back. His foot not finding purchase on theslightly damp grass of the steep hill behind him. His arms pin wheeled and hefell backwards, hitting the ground before tumbling down the hill.
“Illya!” Gaby exclaimed, not sure what to do but to watchhim roll down the hill until he stopped at the bottom. She ran after him, usingquite a bit of force to not stumble over him once she reached him. “Illya,” Sherepeated before kneeling next to the prone agent.
He didn’t respond, just stared up at the cloudless blue sky.“I’m fine.” Grass stuck to his clothes and skin, a leaf in his hair. “What didyou say earlier?”
Gaby peered at him, “I said, I love Scotland.” His eyesclosed, how he had heard ‘I love you’ in that was beyond him. Illya figured itwas what he wanted to hear. “You said something rather strange in return. Ilove you too?”
Illya wished his spill knocked him unconscious.
“Illya?” There was only silence between them as the Russiancontemplated if he could keep rolling down the hill or somehow become a part ofit. Invisible would work as well. Gaby sat on her feet, waiting for him toanswer her.
Clearing his throat, Kuryakin sat up. Taking another fewmoments to brush off his clothes, pick the blades of grass from his cheeks andstraighten his hair, he finally spoke. “Da, I said that I love you too.” Now hefelt absolutely ridiculous repeating the words that made him feel so elatedearlier. “I thought… it is ridiculous,” He shook his head wanting to drop itbut the look on Gaby’s face indicated she wasn’t going to let that happen. “I thought you had said you loved me, so Isaid I love you too.”
This time the silence was going to kill him. This was how hewas going to mess everything up between them. “For you to love me too, I haveto love you first.” She pointed out and he felt his heart sink in his chest. His jaw clenched, the muscles going taunt. Illya nodded once, to convey hisunderstanding. “I do though. Love you.” She added. There was a glint ofamusement in her eyes, as if she had purposely made him squirm.
Turning to face her, his expression was a mixed with shockand relief. “You do?” Illya questioned, unsure. Gaby smiled softly and noddedin favor of speaking again.
Illya grinned, he leaned in to give her a kiss when therewas a voice from the top of the hill. “What are you two doing down there?” Solocalled, a bag over his shoulder. “Let’s get out of here!”
Gaby chucked before getting to her feet and helping Illyaupright, she kept her hand in his as they climbed the hill. “I love you.” Illyawhispered before they were in earshot of Napoleon.
“And I love Scotland.” She winked at him before they reachedthe crest of the hill.
