For this one I went for a deep snow scene as it's a classic way to see a post box! 1/18 post boxes: I'm getting right on it at the moment, I've got 8 post boxes on the go this week and each will have a unique base to be displayed in. The previous two I put into my Etsy store were snapped up quickly last year so if interested look out for when they are ready to go I! 😁 I also want to mention something that @techchucker has been talking about on YouTube, and that's pushing yourself through boundaries in art work, don't shy away from a creative process and challenge yourself with what you're trying to achieve, if it goes wrong then you'll discover and learn how to over come it for next time! Miniature post box dioramas: these are some progress shots of these little builds I've wanted to do for a while. I find our British post boxes to be quite symbolic of our heritage in the UK and so I felt I should make some pieces to appreciate them 😁 here I was building the base for one of the post boxes... I marked out the base and then cut out the pavement stones individually and then positioned them on one by one to give more depth between them. For the tarmac I applied a mixture of filler and fine ballast to get the texture.
