(1/24 scale) Poppins restaurant Worcester - Completed: What a journey this one has been and all because I have such fond memories of this place. I also knew that the people of Worcester also hold valuable memories of Poppins too and so it really is a special piece for the city. This is also the largest piece I've ever made. It measures just over 1ft high and in width which is quite large for a miniature 😂 I've also created the first plaque where I will sign my pieces from now on and so I will see if I can include the number of editions of each piece - that will usually be 1 as my pieces are solely handmade... Hawkers Hut - Commission (1/26 scale) Completed: I had amazing confirmation today that Hawkers Hut had arrived safely upon its voyage to be united with its owner. Woodland fairy door Book Nook commission: Finally completed I here present before you the 'Woodland fairy door Book Nook' I was commissioned to do. It is designed for a child to enjoy and I've included a small post box in the base to place a letter to the fairy if they so wished, I sort of thought the tooth fairy might benefit from this... 😁 You'll see an example of the post box being used and also the set up for how to switch it on and off. It has a switch too but also the battery box has a switch so you have to check both are on 👍 I'm overall really happy with this piece and was a nice different challenge to do.
