So... was the guy on the bench not real Ilya?

I know people on here seemed apt to believe Dom’s tale...but none of that ever fully aligned for me. With that suspicion remaining, would the guy on the bench, who we can assume has a long history with Red, who talks about Katarina, who knows Dom, who refers to Liz as Masha, not use “Red’s” real name? Or even use Red? But...he called him Raymond. If Red is Ilya, wouldn’t this man have called him that? I’m pretty sure bench guy WAS Ilya, especially that conversation they had about Dom’s tale. He also vaguely looks like the guy who played Ilya (I know they purposefully picked a guy that looked similar to Spader, but that’s probably misdirection, which they do on this show often). Would LOVE to hear thoughts on this. Anyone know for sure who Bench Guy is? Am I missing something?
