Home || Tim Drake
The drive to the brownstone had been uneventful. No cop cars chasing her. No villains. She had watched in the shadows as the world moved on without her. But not her family. Not her brother, Conner. Not the man who had helped her create a family. Not her big sister, who looked like a strong wind would knock her down. It was time to come home. To face and fight whatever would come their way.
So she had packed up Lux's things and left the small apartment she had rented in Crime Alley. She had driven overnight to reach Central City. She pulled her groggy baby from the car seat and shushed her back to sleep while she opened the door to their home. She could hear him in his room. Knowing Tim, he hadn't been to bed yet.
With Lux on her hip, she leaned against the doorframe, watching him for a beat, before speaking, "Can I just say, orange is not your color. You should've went to county; at least there they wear grey."
