and as an addendum to this, quite frankly, i'm so tired of people assuming that all pocs have names that supposedly "match" our ethnicities. like plenty of people have european last names, it's fine????? chill the fuck out, jfc.

i can't agree with this more hohhhmygod please like yes their last name can "sound white" it’s not the end of the world and there’s various reasons for them having “european sounding” surnames.. tumblr politics will only ever make sense when it’s a perfect world and it isn’t, they expect everyone to be as morally high and mighty as them and then it’s just like... it’s not being racist, it’s far from it actually but of course they can’t tell the difference. like yes racism is terrible and it shouldn't exist and we should all be against racism, but tumblr overdramaticises it into everything being inherently racist/problematic/sexist, white people are 100% terrible, men should die, (insert poc here) are better than white girls, while at the same time claiming equality like this website was ever a nice and "safe" place.

they will never be rust cohle. he was the tru duhtective here BUT, a bunch of seemingly random shit from the other episodes is finally connecting together, and the dialogue was rust/marty worthy and the whole thing was just so much better than i thought it would be. it will never be season 1, but this episode made some of my suffering worth it tbh

Ella and Hannah are two of the kindest admins I've ever encountered and they did nothing but encourage character development while I was a part of the group. I unfortunately had a lot of personal stress that kept me from adhering to the activity rule, but not a day goes by when I don't miss being a part of this group. The day one players were lovely and I'm happy that some of them are still around. Despite all the negativity, Ella and Hannah have remained positive, so give it a rest.
