Writing Process: Scaled Over 2
Oh hey! I have been meaning to do this for awhile but I finally remembered to Save The Thing.
For anyone interested in my writing process, here is my complete outline for Scaled Over 2. Grammar and punctuation are delightfully representative of how little my outlines care. Items of particular note: this was supposed to be two short scenes in a larger chapter, but ended up expanded into a full chapter because A) I wanted to give the worldbuilding time to breathe, given how many changes this AU has, and B) I found a really good endpoint on that “no wonder the poor bastard...” line. Never pass up a good end point. Also also: sometimes I read my notes later and go “did I really feel the need to write that”. This statement refers to the last line.
Also also also, my actual outline contains less chapter spoilers than my average ask tags. This amuses me.
Le Outline:
Sokka POV, relatively brief, sizing princes up, especially the famed feral dragon who he'd been hearing about for two and a half years and was sick of before they'd ever met: Zuko's ship stopped at border, we have reason to believe a pirate ship entered your waters.
Zuko and Uncle with different aims--Uncle clearly wants to sightsee, perhaps visit your lovely port city, or go on a hunt; meanwhile Zuko with reports and logs and sightings map of pirates as they made their way south--meeting in captain's room on water tribe ship, Zuko actually brought a whole stack of documents that no one wants to see the nerd

The bigger ones here have a legal obligation to provide breakfast with people who are also staying at the registered accomodation which is awesome.
The code cracker. 10 points to your hogwarts house.
Somebody just tried to bid on a hatchling I was holding for somebody. That's...that's not how holding a hatchling works guy...
