One of them was lt-alenko. I happened across some of her writing on my dash, and at first being reluctant to read it (having not yet played ME3), I decided to give it a shot.
I was blown away by the sheer beauty of her words, and having now discovered this diamond of talent, I was determined to at least talk with her; get a glimpse of the personality behind the prose.
I learned through a small amount of research (aka, casually scrolling through her blog) that she was the pioneer of the Kali ship--Kal'Reegar and Tali'Zorah. Now, Tali was my favourite character and I loved her to bits, and Kal was amazing in his brief appearances, but before I read Kath's writing, I had never considered their beauty as a pairing. The bond was instant, and after having a few messages back and forth, chatting minimally, I decided to do some art (really having nothing better to do than cry over Mass Effect some more).
I produced this, and LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT I WAS GETTING MYSELF INTO SOME SERIOUS FRIENDSHIP SHIT.
Anyways, that's how I met the wonderful, beautiful, funny, amazing, phenomenal, astronomical, talented, kind, loving, caring, understanding, tall, mind-blowing, eloquent, elegant Kath, and she seriously doesn't know how much she means to me and the depth of my love for her as one of the most amazing friends to grace my life.
