My head canon about reembodiment in Valinor is flimsy at best as is something along the lines of: ‘at what point will this character turning up cause the most problems’

Of these potential options for Feanor's reembodiment (and their potential impacts), what would be one you'd most like to see further explored in a fanfic?
~2500 SA, about 3,000 years later (comparable to Melkor's original sentence).
After the Doom of Mandos is lifted from the Noldor post first age.
Whenever it is that Fingolfin is released, he & Feanor leave the halls together.
Post 3rd Age canon, sometime in the 4th age.
He stays until all of his sons are ready to leave.
Not until Dagor dagorath/he breaks the silmarils.
Something I didn't think of here. Please tell me in the tags.
I am having so many feanor reembodiment thoughts that I want to turn into fanfic. Please help me narrow this down lmao. Leaning toward Dagor Dagorath but am also considering doing a series of different ideas on this.

Celebrimbor can't stay away from Sauron. Even after he's died at his hands. The same old arguments ensue.

"I was healed, they told me. As ready as a soul could be." Bitterness laced through Finrod's words and he drew the robe close about him once more. "In what way is this readiness? Is there no longer healing in Námo’s halls?" Immediately after his reembodiment, Finrod shuts himself within his chambers and allows none but his mother to come near. When Eärwen is called away, Finarfin must navigate his grief at this new separation and both father and son wrangle together with the toll the First Age has left upon them.
My 2024 @tolkienrsb fic, written to accompany @echo-bleu's stunning art! Thank you so much to echo for submitting an incredibly thoughtful piece of art and for being an absolute delight to work with. I feel so lucky to have gotten the chance to work on this piece!

my mom just described elvish reembodiment as them 'regenerating like worms'
I prefer the interpretation of re-embodiments being influenced by self image.
As a disabled person, I don't really like that all disabilities are wiped by re-embodiment. Maedhros for example would come back with a new hand by the canon text, but what if he has grown so used to having one hand that having two is alien and feels unlike himself? A blind elf might get overwhelmed by all the visual stimulation in their body, or someone might not recognize themselves at all without their scars.
Disability shapes the way one sees the world, and it's sudden removal would be a trauma in of itself.
What Happens When Elves Are Released from the Halls of Mandos - Headcanon Post
Elven fëar spend a lot of time in the Halls, often several centuries, especially if the person was traumatized greatly prior to their death. During that time, they work with Namo and (mostly) his Maiar to heal (that is a subject for another post). Namo determines when it’s time for a fëa to be released. Then, the Elf’s family and/or friends are notified.
