S-spare MiragexWraith headcannons? 🥺🥺🥺🥺
So more Angsty, but I hope you enjoy. If not please let me know!
-Mirage knows that being with Wraith would be difficult.
-But he tells her every time they wake up that is proud to be by her side. That she is everything he has ever wanted
-But wraith sees everyday that Mirage is one man by day and one man by night.
-She loves whenever he is so thoughtful and sweet and such. But whenever he gets out of the house he suddenly turns into this comedic playboy who is trying to win the hearts of everyone who watches him.
-She wants to call him out on it, believing that she really is just a throw away for him. But she knows if she does, then she risks him calling her out.
-Mirage wanted to go public with their relationship. But Wraith did not. She wanted to keep this a secret. Wraith believes full heartedly that it will make her a hypocrite if she were to ask Mirage not to tell and not to be who he is.
-Mirage only does this so no one will make Wraith uncomfortable with questions and such. He loves her dearly but he also wants to show her off to everyone else. They’re different people.
-She’s private while he is public.
-She’s cold and reserved while he is goofy and social.
-Opposites attract, but it only works sometimes.
-Wraith often leaves in the middle of the night and won’t come back for several days. Leaving mirage a worried mess.
-He calls her, looks for her, everything he can do to find her. Aside from reporting her missing. Because it would only scare her off more.
-So most times Mirage just sits in their home. Alone. No lights turned on. No music playing while their footsteps can be heard dancing to the music.
-Mirage just sits there. Staring at the floor. Wondering what he can change. What else he can do to keep her home with him. So they can work it out.
-Wraith does hate doing that to him. But she only does it to think about what she can change about herself. Mirage deserves better. She’s seen him in other dimensions with other legends. Since they’re far better than she has ever been. They’re more social. They’re more kind and capable to take care of mirage and worthy enough for Mirage to take care of them.
-She beats herself up about it for a couple of days. Convincing herself that she just isn’t the one for Mirage. She needs to end it.
-But every-time she comes back to tell mirage what she wants to do, she is met with Mirage clinging to her. Begging her to never leave him alone again. That he will change. He will do whatever it takes.
-His tears aren’t ever expected but she falls for this man every time. His puppy eyes, his smooth voice (even on the brink of sobs), and his body holding her. She cannot deny him. So she keeps quiet.
-And so the cycle continues.
