The aesthetics that I gave the two main love interest from Our life: Now & Forever with little to no explanation, based off my interpretation (Disclaimer: which are not valid), these aesthetic aren’t meant to me harmful in any shape or form, if you come across this post and feel this way, feel free to contact me, I would like to learn from my mistakes! (The part in the demo where Qiu talks about leaving a will, gives me the impression that it won't be the last time hearing some dark humour, and them being done with everything and everyone, I may have over exaggerated when adding the right image, but I still left it there)

(We don't know this, but if Qiu is skipping out on classes and practice, and wants to stay home all day and hide away, I would think they would be in their own solo adventure outdoor, just avoid the spotlight and confrontation from their parents)

Camp core (Another getaway trip, telling stories around the campfire, decided on who is going to share a tent, or wonder off to the woods at night to only realize MC or someone is missing from their group)

People need to leave Shinichiro alone

People literally need to leave the character that has been dead since the beginning of the series alone.

I already see people on Tik tok and Twitter, getting mad at Shinichiro for not reuniting Izana with Emma.

I've checked on the seaons 3 trailer of Tokyo Reevengers, a twitter user (@pixiekaku) used google translate for this.

I swear, if the whole situation turns out to be just like that Shinichiro theory, from a while back, i'm gonna lose it.

"Why didn't he bring Izana with him"

"Shinichiro is sick and twisted"

The comments are either come for some people who are fixated on/simp for Izana or anime only, that's my guess on the reaction.

Reading through the comments from both platforms, there can be many reasons why Shinichiro didn't reunite Izana with Emma.

The following has spoilers to what is to come in season three and the remainder of the manga. I suggest you skip until you caught up to the arc of the manga or finished the series.

If you don't care, I still suggest you skip the last one, being 12 as a major spoiler (which is an entire spoiler to the whole plot of the manga.)

There being restrictions to where Izana can go or visit (Izana was in an institution, which Shinichiro visited, and which Emma couldn't visit at the time)

2.Shinichiro was in his teens, a minor, he couldn't just "adopt" Izana

3.Based on the letters, Izana already knew that Emma was with Shinichiro, Izana himself couldn't visit Emma yet and vice versa.

4.Shinichiro saw Izana regardless

5.After a few year, Shinichiro didn't know when Izana got out of reform school

6.Shinichiro it was even implied that Shinichiro would have Mikey and Emma meet, when Shinichiro asked Mikey when he was younger, if he had another brother!

7.If you want to talk about abandonment, look into Emma's biological mother (Karen Kurokawa), and her conversation with Izana when he's older

8.Not that it mattered, but Izana made it clear about his resetment towards Mikey in the letters he wrote to Shinichiro when mentioning a headache, note: the following isn't true, but Shinichiro may be taking precautions

9. Shinichiro is a family guy for sure, and tries his best to look out for everybody, he didn't care if Izana was blood or not, and there wasn't much he could do to bring Izana to meet the rest of the siblings, nothing.

10.The fact that Shinichiro has been compared with Takemichi throughout, reflects badly on him too, and yet, still attack the poor man regardless, that's just crazy!

11. Izana rejected Shinichiro as a brother, during the rain scene when they argued, after finding out from Karen, that they aren't blood related, and Shinichiro argued it didn't mattered wether they were blood or not, Izana decided he was alone from then on

12.REMEMBER, Shinichiro is a time leaper, the events he dealt with in the timeline Mikey died in is entriely different, he may have not have know of Izana's existence or what to do! (that and Emma was a runaway too!)

Not to attack some of Izana's fans or simps, but i'm quiet curious what their reaction will be when they come across the scene of Izana giving Kisaki permission to off so-and-so.

Qiu Lin: The drawbacks of popularity

Heads up, successful people!

This is just a what-if! Doesn't necessarily mean the things mentioned in this post are implanted in the game or are valid, just researching the pros and cons of being popular at school for so long.

Please, do not take the ideas out of context, as I will include sensitive topics, I wouldn't call the following statements I've listed to step 2 Qiu as a "head cannon" when GP games focus more on positive things in the games.

So, still focusing on step 2 Qiu, and GP games' mention on their attitude as a 14 kid.

(I have seen their step 3 design, and God am I in love with them)

Let's agree, it is tough for a teen, or anyone in particular when they are trying to find their true identity. I've been thinking that being put in the spotlight for so long, did not help Qiu when entering their teens? (but again, I wouldn't know, the full game isn't out).

These are the pro of being popular: Everyone knows you, the social aspect, being well known/liked in a positive way, being the invited, first choice, romantic interest, the favourite, etc.

As there is a yang, there is a ying, the potential drawbacks to being popular (with examples used) :

Feeling exhausted from having to keep in contact with people (especially new people that try to join their friend circle in this stage)

The pressure of being looked up to (They are considered to be well-liked by classmates)

Being suffocated and having barely any time to yourself

Always being hassled to help people out

Having your privacy invaded

The likelihood of having stress and mental breakdowns

Being constantly busy with social life

Status can attract too many fake friends (Developing Deep Friendships Takes Work: the neighbourhood friends we are introduced to through posts/ and have in-game sprites )

Darker aspects would include:

-Unwanted attention (people following them around), unnecessary rumours (not the teasing kind!) and issues of trust

Z-library alternatives

So z-library is down, which is an absolute tragedy, but for those looking here's a list of alternatives under the cut.

Books

Open Library: this works like an actual library, where there's a waiting list and you can borrow books for x time.

Library Genesis: my personal favourite of the ones in this list, both for entertainment or academic books. Here you can download epubs or other formats, and there's a great ISBN search function.

The Pirate Bay: it doesn't have that many book options, and it has pop up ads, but still a good option.

Sci-Hub: this is for research papers, but you have to type the exact title of what you're looking for.

IT eBooks: books on IT and programming.

Ubooquity: has to be installed to use.

Simon & Schuster: I haven't actually tried this one, but it has a mailing list which you have to sign up to in order to get the books.

eBooks 3000: this doesn't have that many options and there are some pop up ads.

PDF Drive: there's no limits or ads, but it only has PDF formats.

Read Any Book: here you can read books online or download them.

The Eye: sort of an archive with pretty much everything, but you can't search things here, and it's tough to navigate. I think they have audiobooks too.

Audiobooks

Audiobook Bay: here you can download audiobooks.

Booksonic: this is for audiobook streaming, and you have to download the app or install the software on your computer.

Tokybook: this one has many options, and it's easy to navigate.

I know none of these are as good as z-library was, but hopefully they'll do the trick. This could really help people, so pass it on and add if you have more!

Welp, I did it.

(Above): I had a cuteness overload just by looking at Tamarack (Step 1 and 2). I knew the moment I saw her that I wanted to protect her from harm. It's fascinating that she plays the cello. I don't know about you but do you think at one point at school in the music room/ her room we end up walking midway through her practicing? I think it would go in one or two ways, she'll invite us to listen to her play or be startled by someone hearing her play (despite being an aspect she is confident in, that or that her crush, friend or neighbour entered without her noticing when she was distracted.)

I'd like to think since she is also friends with Qiu, it would mean a handful of people know Tamarack, even if she tries to fit in with the rest of the students (I wouldn't even be surprised if this girl has admirers, look at her and the talent she has in playing the cello!), Tamarack trying to find her place in her community will be very interesting to see! She'll definitely attempt to try trends that are popular for her age group.

(Bottom): illutration: leecheedoodles. Tamarack won't always fit in the shy category (being shy and self-conscious are two different things). And I think we will be giving moments over the time during the playthrough that we help Tamarack and build each other up (I know *I* also need to work on that). With the acute self-consciousness, it would make sense she hesitates with affection toward MC (depending on your relationship status with her). There is also the 'Girl next door' trope I love, since there wasen't a girl romantic interest in OL1, but here we are!

(Top): Step 2 Qiu would be fourteen here (please correct me if I am wrong), and based on this post from Twitter/Tumblr, this clearly gives me the impression that they are popular in their school/grade and one of the popular kids in school.

(Bottom): Whether you guys decided to pursue a romantic, platonic or neighbour relationship with Qiu, I've always got this idea of this ship dynamic between them and the MC ever since we were shown this image from step two (Tamarack is just adorable, I'm gonna do a similar post with her too!)

Also, don't mind the loner title, and of course, the reference belongs to leecheedoodles. I'm not really sure whether or not will be at the same level as Qiu or get to choose or not (and either way is fine by me!). I posted this b/c the ship dynamic with a popular person who falls in love with the regular/less popular one is one of my favourites!

it makes me so sad to see so many creators talking in the tags about how they’re not creating as much because less and less people are interacting. this is proof that interaction is vital. this is proof that a lack of interaction leads to discouraged creators and leads to less creations. liking—and only liking—does not encourage creators.

and that’s because (1) the purpose of this website is to share things that bring us joy and (2) likes don’t share things or ensure something is seen by more people, not like they do on other sites. so, when so many people decide to only like a post and not share it (i.e. not reblog it), that tells the creator that those people didn’t think their hard work was worth sharing with others. that’s discouraging. 

and the creator isn’t the only one that gets something out of that. you get something, too. you get the joy of sharing something you like; that’s a meaningful experience for both you and for the creator. and that experience—that interaction—encourages the creator to create more, and so there’s more joy to be had for both you and the creator.

long story short, interaction (i.e., reblogging, which is interaction in its simplest form on this site) brings joy. it’s literally all about the joy, people. the joy in discovering and sharing and appreciating and marveling at creations. so please reblog—for everyone’s sake, including your own.

To the people who complain  about...certain ships and OC x canon character

1) It's an OC, and their not an actual character (meaning they are not canon characters, and have no effect on the main story line) 

2) Let people ship what they want, your’re free to ship whoever you like, It's fine as long as they aren't harming anyone or giving the wrong message

 3) If you don't like it, if it makes you uncomfortable, if you have something rude to say about the OC or the pairing, leave. Nobody needs your negativity, (especially if the fandom is known to be “toxic”.) 

(Ex: Go onto other posts of people’s OTP’s, attack the artist, writer, etc for it)

4)  Learn the difference between Canon and Headcanon

 Just added a little more here, it was originally written by a user on Pinterest, but i’m unsure wether to put their user name because they deserve the credit and it may be a personal account ( I will if they contact me).

I genuinely believe a fandom is not toxic, it is just the people with it it that act in someway, and make that fandom have a bad reputation for it. I won’t be naming the fandom which I’ve seen so much of these things happening to avoid conflict. Have a nice day everyone.
