it’s probably The Worst thing to come out of the entire mogai movement tbh. like, i always knew i was gay but the idea that you could be gay but also NOT be at the same time plus the whole thing about ~monosexuals~ being inherently Bad (combined with the Boys-Are-The-Worst-esque posts) sure didn’t do me any favors lmao. also trying to divide my attraction strictly into Romantic and Sexual led me to think i was ace for years because it was easier to just repress that instead of analyzing why, as a non-straight and non-cis person, i might have complicated feelings about physical intimacy!!! and i mean i was a kid!!!!! it’s normal not to be interested in sex when you’re 14 years old!!!!!! but now thanks to all that bullshit i still don’t have my shit figured out at 22

my favorite thing about neil shepard is how quiet and calm he is. even in the worst situations he exudes this sort of serene stillness. it's not because he's serious, persay, but rather that he knew anger a lot as a kid being earthborn and sole survivor. he's steady and always there and that's also one of the reasons why steve falls in love in the first place with him.

Oh I love him a lot, he sounds exactly like my favorite type of characters!
