so I made this post months ago basically talking about how I think the phrase Jean taught Jeremy might’ve been something like a line out of the stories Elodie loved so much

and I’m bringing it back up because I can’t stop thinking about it now but I am not savvy enough to even be able to even remotely guess what story it might’ve (if I’m right) come from let alone once you factor in stories that originated in French plus the fact that it’s Nora we’re talking about- she could be referencing ANYTHING and everything so

just bringing it back to light in hopes that eventually someone might see it and have an idea because I have zero even with Google on my side. 10/10 no idea

I had this dream post DOTO Outsider was like slowly losing their powers, not all at once after being turned human, and would lose an ability at a very inconvenient time. They and Corvo were aboard some giant ship trying to solve a murder (one of Outsie's first abilities to go was premonition/omnipresence so it ofc didn't know who the killer was)

I don't remember the context, but I distinctly remember the Outsider casually hiding a corpse in a washroom while a couple were chatting just a few feet away LMAO, meanwhile Corvo was just standing in a corner looking extremely pale and wondering if a cop was going to pass by and assume they were the killers.

At one point there was this sweet romantic music playing as Corvo was having a Moment of Realization™ and then the dream camera just fuckin pans over to another mangled body they just discovered😭 Cockblocked by the narrative

Having siblings is weird because time passes in sets-

and a lot of it just as the chunk of time I spent watching anime with my brother on the couch when we were kids and then summers where we played walking dead ( he played i watched) and then b99 and fast forward to us this month watching only murders in the building and suits and just wasting time building upon ridiculous theories of how the storyline should go and laughing until it is 2am.

Just writing this down so I know small joys have always graced my life in the form of time spent with him.

for sub yanderes (a friend of mine is writing a series about it with the brothers which is really good):

-masochism works well. also very funny if you wanna punch them in the face but they'd get off on that

-protectiveness/overprotectiveness is good, especially if they're sneaking around your back to torture/maim/kill people for any perceived slight or threat to your relationship

-shows of power (possibly involving bloodshed) as a romantic gesture. sub yandere presents you with the head of your enemies for a headpat

-possessiveness is a hallmark, but a subby yandere could focus more on "no one else deserves to touch you" part of it, and "no one could ever make you feel as good as i do" etc.

-worship kink. sub yanderes who want to worship you as their god/master/whatever

That’s a very helpful ref! My main concern is the sub coming off as too dommy, so I’m trying t o figure out good ways to word stuff too.

Possessiveness is by far my favorite aspect of it, and the protectiveness so 100% gonna use those!
