Rough concept for Tim’s room aboard Sanctuary bc I’m bad at designing spaces
Rambling and shit under the cut about what’s there and what he has on his walls.
It isn’t a proper room, but rather a cleaned out storage area Ellie begrudgingly cleared out per Moxxi’s request. It’s close to Claptrap’s quarters in the ship and the walls are extremely thin so Tim gets to listen to the robot ramble. Constantly. It’s very annoying. He also constantly hears the hustle and bustle of the ship, Ellie tinkering and whatever else might occur on the lowest level of the ship.
Everyone with a certain level of clearance aboard the ship knows the passcode to get in. (Vault Hunters + Everyone who isn’t a nameless npc basically.) Part of this is a safety precaution in case Tim barricades himself up and won’t come back out. Part of it is again bc its a fucking storage room.
There are nifty little hooks by the door to hang his jacket and stuff up when he’s coming or going. Rarely ever leaves without his jacket and hood upwards because he isn’t comfortable walking around without it.
The main piece of furniture is a desk so he can write and tinker. His scripts and snippets from the Casino were brought along and he finally has a chance to sit down and write without impending doom breathing down his back. There’s also an ECHO device; he’s working on getting Athena and Janey’s information to contact them. Also used to interact w people aboard the ship (Zane mostly.)
Safe beneath the desk; Always locked. Contains personal notes and reminders that he isn’t Jack. ECHO logs of his personal diary; Interviews with the bl2 VH’s concerning Jack’s death and assurance that the man is dead.
Bulletin board full of notes regarding who he’s met bc his memory isn’t the best; notes regarding what he’s missed and upcoming missions. Some of them have drawings on them. Some of them do not. That stupid poster of Jack with a mustache drawn on him is also pinned up as per the standard of the bulletin boards in-game.
Calendar! With Cats on it! To keep track of the passage of time accurately.
A copy of the cat poster from TPS; Do not ask how he managed to track it down.
Small Cot; Not comfy but hey. It beats nothing! It creaks when he moves around too much. He keeps his weapons stashed in a safe beneath it. It isn’t really big enough for two people so any business with Zane usually occurs up in the Operative’s quarters.
Trash can; filled with balled up paper, crushed cans of pop and water bottles and liquor bottles. He’s coping. Leave him alone.
