Some new traditional art. Not that good but I wanted to make a statement, we must stop using ai for images. I understand that it is easier and more efficient. However, using it undermines the hard work and creativity REAL artists put into their work. Also ai can never truly replicate human creativity and skill because of its lack of cognitive understanding. Please stop using ai for art. Thank you so much. 😊

After a literal month of work and life trying to keep it from happening. The switcharoo collab is finally done! The theme? Our OCs during Halloween!

My characters, dressed as the reaper and an ogre for Hallow’s Eve, are Mei-ling and Wenxue, respectively. They’re siblings! Check out @itsununnu‘s and @may-jasmine‘s posts for info on theirs!

The background on their image is a paint-over of a photo taken of Copenhagen’s 2015 Halloween Festival, which can be found here.

And for Wenxue’s costume, I took some heavy inspiration from an illustration, unfortunately I realized too late that it had been sourced to Pinterest. So after removing its domains for 20 different countries from my search results, my findings led to one by the name of ZhangWang(张旺) whose blog has left me mesmerized and crying that I can’t speak the language. (x)
