HD Monday: panda
Mabel tried desperately to wear makeup in middle school but she always ended up looking like a panda zombie.
HD Monday: nymph
They giggled all around her—picking up strands of her hair, inspecting the fabric of her dress.
"Tell us something else about Eng-gland!”
"Why dears, there isn’t that much left to say!"
A willow tree naiad with a dress made of orange peels floated on a gust of wind. “There has to be something.”
"Are the trees alive?"
"Like us!" chipped another.
"Oh," Mabel sighed, "I always knew they were."
HD Monday: bed
Mabel has to sleep on the side furthest from the door. No matter if she’s alone or with John, she doesn’t like being near to any kind of door. Closet, bedroom, bathroom, whatever—she’d rather be near a window.
Headcanon: Glasses
I don’t think this is a surprise but Mabel has reading glasses. She reads them more at night time, and refuses to use them for when she’s playing piano especially while she’s performing.
Modern Headcanon: Letters
May-Belle wrote her father letters in prison from the time he was incarcerated, to the time she got engaged. He never gave her any heartfelt replies, until she announced her upcoming nuptials. Being naive, she visited him for the first time outside of prison. What he said and did to her during that visit remained with her for years. After that, she couldn’t have cared less about what happened to him. She destroyed all the letters she used to keep, and acted as if he never existed.
Golden Music for Gilded Queens ~Susan and Swanwhite~
This certainly is lovely. I haven't heard many of these songs since the Golden Age. Oh, do forgive me. I don't mean to intrude on your thoughts. If you would prefer, I'll leave you in peace.
And yet from the looks of it Naerwen was more manageable. The girl beside her, in place of her sister, had a tender look to her. A crown of sorts. With her gentleness, she reigned the people's eyes toward her. Sincerity in her curls, a smile on her fingers. Everything about the girl made Swanwhite chuckle into her cracked knuckles. With a bit more work, the girl would be revered even beyond the territories of Narnia. A bit more work and a lot of confidence.
