Dude have you watched the movie Bronson with Tom Hardy?
It's SO fucking good and it reminds me of your level of unhinged on here.
Apparently Charles Bronson liked Tom Hardy so much and appreciated his dedication to the role that Charlie shaved off his mustache and gave it to Tom so he could wear it in the film.
They'd have phone conversations regarding the role. One day Charlie recognized that Tom seemed off and asked what was up. Tom went on about a girl he was dating and upset about their relationship. Charlie gave a really good analogy. He asked Tom if he remembered a young man who drowned because his foot was caught. Charlie said "that wouldn't happen to me, you want to know why? Because I'd fucking cut my foot off, cut that shit off."
It was just so good and inspiring in a weird way. Such personality and unique not giving a fuck. I see this in you.
I hope you watch it if you haven't already. The soundtrack fucks too!
Yes! I have watched it! I liked it so much I even got the look in 2021:
But I look softer and less muscular than the real Bronson and Tom Hardy.
Yeah, I see why do you see a similar level of unhinged lol. Also, those weird parts where he has his face painted and then turns around and he's wearing women's makeup… I don't remember what was that about, but I think I'm like that. It's a strange movie and I watched it years ago. I don't remember everything, not even the plot. It's about a guy who starts to spiral out of control in prison because he wanted to marry his girlfriend but made a mistake and was arrested… and then they keep him locked up, and obviously he doesn't like being locked up, he wants to be free, but they keep trying to hold him back…
I even forgot it's a movie by Refn!
I remember the part where he's in the asylum, trying to escape, but he's too drugged up (I know it was antipsychotics), and a guard tells him to go back and he just goes back, lol, meanwhile this cool song is playing, I think it's by New Order, and the patients are dancing…
Those are great anecdotes and kinda funny too, thanks. I think I need to rewatch Bronson because, well, it's by Refn. Last Refn movie I watched was Drive, lol, I hadn't watched it until 2023-24, I think.
