In the age of social media when you put yourself out there for the world to see, it can get bloody scary and feeling fucking vulnerable. When I started @bloodygirlgang I wanted to be as authentic as I can as an artist, a woc, a migrant among many hats that I wear. I wanted to share unapologetic stories of the marginalized to the world where people can be unkind and unaware of the privileges they have - particularly in the Bay Area that’s highly gentrified and infested with jerks. . If you had seen previous posts, I’m going through some rough times... and out of the blue this sweet angel patron - Olivia, sent love and ☕️ money via @Venmo and revived the little hope I had in humanity. (Picture blurred out because I want to respect one’s privacy) I had the pleasure of meeting Olivia once at a local community event where I was paddling my art and this angel has been sucha a amazing support for what I do that it makes me tear up. 😿 Thank you friend ❤️ hope you don’t mind me sharing our little story. . . And. FUCK TROLLS. 🖕🏿🖕🏾🖕🏽#commentaniceword #refrainfromnegativity #fuckoffifyoudonthavesomethingnicetosay .
