His truck reads “TRUMP” very clearly and then “America WILL be great again” • This is not the south, this is not the country. This is 20 miles outside of Philadelphia where I grew up. Collegeville, Pa • THIS IS STRAIGHT TERRIFYING - this is not a difference of political leanings or social beliefs - this is a difference between one’s HUMANNESS & A LACK-THEREOF • America WILL be great again? How? By ensuring that the people you have identified as “other” are stripped of their rights, ripped from their children, denied any form of real justice & live in a constant state of terror? This behavior is the exact way we (white folks) stole this land from Indigenous persons in the very beginning. By deciding that we are entitled to it, that people who were here first were sub-human • We did this again with slavery, convincing ourselves & creating pseudo-science that justified our evil and made it digestible for us • We do it to the coffee farmers in Columbia or Kenya, the factory workers in Indonesia working in sweat shops to make our *affordable* clothing • We do not see people who do not look like us, who do not pray like us, who do not come from where we come from as FULLY human • #keepfamiliestogether #blacklivesmatter #immigrantsmakeamericagreat #immigrantsarewelcomehere #refugeeswelcomehere #refugeesarewelcomehere #maga

Une photo du projet avec l'ONG TSOS que j'ai intitulé " Génération invisible". Son rêve était de venir en France pour trouver une vie meilleure et aller à l'université dans un pays libre ... aujourd'hui à Paris sa vie est en mode "survie". Laissant souvent sa famille, il désire garder l'anonymat de peur des représailles en Afghanistan. Une question a été posé à un de ces jeunes réfugiés " Pourquoi tu ne restes pas dans ton pays et ta ville" sa réponse : "Parce que les Talibans tuent les gens ...."
