Olivia and Riley meet in potions class during their second year. Their positions master made some sort of snide remark about Riley’s attempt at a potion and Olivia told them to piss off. She lost 10 points for Slytherin but made a new friend!

After that the girls were inseparable. Meeting outside to work on their Defense Against The Dark Arts homework, or wandering around the castle together in hopes of finding something new.

Their 3rd year is when they started to notice that maybe their feelings weren’t exactly platonic. They went to Hogesmede together and got a Butterbeer to share. It could have been how close they were sitting or maybe sharing the drink from the mug or whatever it was in the air..it was officially different between them.

They didn’t kiss until a few months after that. Christmas break was over. Everyone had returned and they had been so excited to see one another after so long they shared a kiss in the great hall. Everything figured it was about time. 

Olivia’s Slytherin friend’s are nice to Riley because they know better. One made one snide remark and got a swift hex from the short blonde and that was that. She’s very protective of her Hufflepuff girlfriend and doesn’t take crap from anyone.

“I can not wait to get out of this town. He was almost shaking from how angry he is, stupid small town and their stupid small thinking and their stupid small prejudices.
