we will no longer be having the private updates blog, but instead, be posting updates privately on the main and linking everyone via the ooc discord. we ask that if you have anything that was posted after the daily post ( ie. starters ) to please post them in the OOC discord. We will be posting them everyday between 12:00 - 12:30 am GMT ( 7:00 -7:30 pm EDT / 6:00 - 6:30 pm CDT ).
a quick message about starters. we know that sometimes a starter doesn’t vibe with your character, and that is ok. but please try and message the mun to see if ya’ll can do a closed starter instead and/or plot something out.

We will be opening today at 7:00 PM CT (View results of the poll here). We will be opening up with more memes to get a better sense of our characters. We will be having our opening event this weekend from Friday - Sunday. Threads are allowed to be finished within the following week, but we encourage them to be done that weekend. Our first event will be a Gala, so take this time to see if you’ll have a date or going with friends! Thank you so much to those who joined us. We have added the following rules in regards to activity and taking up multiple muses. We love that everyone is dedicated, but it is also important to note that activity makes or breaks an rp. These rules are now in effect and should be followed from this point on. If you have any questions please contact an admin.
1. You need to fill out the semi-hiatus or full hiatus form to let us know that you need time off OR let us know that you need time off. We do check in with y’all if we see that you’ve been inactive. We understand if you need time due to school, time to refresh, or other issues.
2. If you have been on an activity check 3 times within a 2 month period, the fourth time will result in an unfollow. You may rejoin, but you will be limited to one muse for the first 2 weeks of you being back. There is a chance that your fc or connection is picked up by someone else, so please try and be active.
3. You will be allowed 3 muses to start off, after that you must wait one week before taking on additional muses. Again, please only take on as much as you can handle. If you have not been with us for more than a week and have more than 3 characters that is ok, but you may not take more until you reach a week.
4. In order to be considered active you need to meet one of the following:
Have a minimum of 3 interactions per character(s).
Have a minimum of 2 interactions per character(s) and complete the weekly task.
Have a minimum of 2 interactions per character(s) and post at least 2 self-paras, headcanons, or other character development material.
These rules are not meant to stress anyone out. As admins, we know that life happens and are always willing to help out, but we need for you to communicate with us. If you have read this please comment with your schoolhouse (it can be any school!). Like always, if there is something that you do not agree with or want to bring another issue to us please let us know via ask, anon ask, messaging the blog, or sending a dm to our discords!
We will be having our first activity check will be posted on Monday, May 06, 2019 at 11:00 PM GMT ( 7:00 PM EDT / 6:00 PM CDT ). If you have not posted your character into + at least one post in character OR the intro task + one post in character, your character(s) will be put on the activity watch. You will have 24 hours to regain activity or you will be removed. While we ask that you wait at least one week before requesting a hiatus, we do understand that life gets in the way. please talk to an admin if you need anything.
While the discord ooc group is optional, please let an admin know if you are still not part of the group.

Howdy, everyone! We have some more things we’d like to talk about today.
We love your input and your ideas, but we ask that you speak to one or all the admins in a private chat. This is because if we approve your idea we want it to be a surprise, so to speak, for our other members.
The government chat is available for those in a government position so you can plan out any events that you’d like to do (debates, game-wide galas, etc).
Our newspaper is almost ready to be released, and you are allowed to take a pseudonym newspaper reporter name. Please note that this you will still have to submit the forms, and there is a possibility that we do not run a story if we feel that it is steering the plot in an unwanted direction.
For our OOC Discord chat it is important that we refrain from talking about triggering items. We are all here for you if you need someone to talk to, but please try and keep possible triggers out of the main chat. If you do not know what type of triggers we have please refer to this list.
Finally, remember that you are not guaranteed a yes on an event. You still need the approval of the admin team. We will do our best to incorporate any event/idea/etc that you have, so please do not let that discourage you. If you read this please respond with your favorite Harry Potter Character.
