T-Minus Sixteen Days till Move In Day at Regis College.
T-Minus Seventeen Days till my Eighteenth Birthday.
I'm really excited for College but also really sad. My little brother and I haven't been separated for more than a day or two, most times we don't get along but my brothers my rock. He's there when I need him. I don't think I'll be able to let him go when they drop me off.
Regis doest start classes until September 8th, a day after my 18th. So. That's pretty cool.
I have finally registered for my first semester of my senior year!
Its such a strange feeling. I am so close to being done. But I’m still so far away. I have decided to take 6 classes for next semester. 5 undergrad and 1 grad class. I am taking only a maximum of 3-4 classes for my major, and the rest are electives. There is one class that I will most likely drop before the start of the fall semester and thats mainly because of the day/time. So we will see what happens.
The classes I am taking (as of right now) next semester are:
CO-305-01 - Small Group Communication
- Tuesdays/Thursdays - 3:30PM-4:45PM
CO-401-01 - Senior Seminar I
-Mondays - 2PM-4PM
ID-413-01 - Internship class
- 1-2 Fridays a month from 9AM-12PM
MT-203-01 - Principles of Leadership/Management
- Mondays/Wednesdays - 11AM-12:15PM
MT-222-01 - Principles of Marketing
- Mondays/Wednesdays - 12:30-1:45
CO-604-01 - Persuasive Communication
- Mondays - 6PM-8:30PM
I do realize that my Mondays will be packed. But that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It gives me the rest of the week to relax/work/study. Soooooo hopefully I won't go crazy, but we will see.
Appiled to three colleges within the past two days.
New Chapter
So I am currently at Regis College and just moved into my room for the week. I'm so nervous about writing my own news article at the Boston Globe and about having to spend time with people I don't know. My doctor gave me anti-panic attack medicine just in time and I've already taken some of it. I'm so scared but this is such a huge opportunity. I just hope my panic attacks and anxiety don't turn this week to hell. I just want to do good and prove that an inner city kid from Boston can whoop these pretentious assholes.
