in honor of Dream being an Official Music Man™, here are some music-y caregiver!dream headcanons!!
Will do ‘concerts’ with his kiddos! They set up a stage and play music together. Usually George and Sapnap make Dream sing at least backup. George singing and maybe playing a little kid keyboard, but mostly he like doing things like ‘lights’ and bossing them around (telling them what to sing and where to do and stuff.) Sapnap, on the other hand, likes being really loud and playing drums and recorders and kazoos and being the center of attention. Dream lets them drag him arounds and entertains their little games. If they can, they get friends to watch them. Wilbur is always the most enthusiastic audience member.
Sings to George and Sapnap (or other littles that he’s babysitting), especially when when they’re going to bed or need soothing. George likes it the best.
He’s not so into singing them lullabies, and prefers just singing them songs that he likes (and thinks are age appropriate!)
Likes singing to regressors when they’re little, but gets really self-conscious when singing around non-regressors/non-regressed people.
Makes up silly little songs while caregiving! Improvises little lyrics and melodies about things like making lunch or taking a bath or putting on their rain gear to go outside. George and Sapnap love it.
