Little!Technoblade Headcanons

A/N :: Doing this request made me so happy aa! Anything Little!Technoblade related gives me so much comfort since he’s like, my favorite character n all! Hope you enjoy these hcs as much as I do :D.

Techno’s regression is usually involuntary rather than voluntary. He tends to regress 2-3 times a week. His little age is 4-9 but sometimes he goes lower, though not often.

Philza is his long term caregiver, Ranboo sometimes babysits Techno but they hang out more when they’re both little. Techno finds Ranboo to be like a sibling figure when regressed.

When he’s little, he loves anything that’s shiny. Especially gold items he may find. So his pacifiers, sippy cups, all have jewels on them! (And he will definitely decorate Phil’s face with plastic gems)

Really enjoys being read to, he loves story time so much and is basically the only thing that convinces him take naps or go to bed.

He’s very shy around new people, and can be shy the first couple of minutes into regression as well. Though he can be kind of talkative if you speak to him about certain interests of his. (Special interests, if you will)

But besides that, he’s a bit of a quiet little and will let people know what he wants/needs by hand movements and so on.

When little, he sometimes shakes his head because it makes his jewelry move around and it makes noises he likes. (Though the jewelry is eventually taken off when he’s small)

Enjoys guessing games, mostly because he knows a lot of the answers (usually) and he just loves getting the questions right and getting praise for it.

Likes spinning in circles because of his long hair, he just likes seeing it move. Though, sometimes he absolutely hates his long hair when small and just needs it to be tied up in a bun or two, or even a braid. (In conclusion, he likes his hair getting played with)

Very very curious. Will ask questions about anything and everything he comes across—he just wants to know as much he possibly can!

So many chew necklaces/toys. For sensory and non sensory reasons. If he doesn’t have a chew necklace/toy, he will chew on his sleeves, fingers, and almost anything he can find.

Little Techno actually really enjoys arts and crafts. He likes decorating pages with whatever stickers he has to try and make it look pretty. (He totally has greek mythology themed stickers, because y e s)

Gets very embarrassed whenever someone praises him for something he did good.

Will more than likely ask for hot chocolate when small. It’s like, his favorite drink and he constantly wants it.

He talks in piglin and English when regressed, mainly English but he does switch back and forth between the two by accident. He finds it easier to speak in piglin when small.

Caregiver!Philza and Age Regressor!Technoblade HCs

Philza didn’t think Techno talked when regressed except for the occasional “Da’za”, mostly he just points to what he wants or makes various snorts and huffs. After a while of caring for him though he realised… huh… the snorts… Was that Piglin? So he records the ones he recognises the most and plays them back for Techno when he’s out of headspace and a Very Embarrassed Technoblade relays to him that he was basically saying the Piglin equivalents of “hungwy”, “blankie” and “wan’ dada”

Regressed Techno isn’t allowed to touch Philzas wings because lack of motor control and general curiosity do not mix with wings, but!! If he’s been a very good boy all day long the two of them sit down in front of the fire and very carefully, and little clumsily, Techno will run his hands through the giant feathers and get lost in the way they shine and fluff out.

Techno has a small collection (about 10-15) of illustrated mythology books. He’s gotten one for himself, one he thought was ‘cool enough’ to have even when not regressed and the rest are gifts from Philza and Ranboo.

Techno loves being read to and will even ‘help’ Philza out. Pointing to pictures and babbling in a combination of baby level Piglin and English. Nothing he says makes sense but Philza asks him questions and nods along to his noises, telling him “Good job, little piglet!”

Technos favourite way to read is at bedtime when he can snuggle up close to Philza with his bottle of warm honey milk and giant black wings carefully folded up around the both of them, blocking out the rest of the world.

Custom items cg!Philza had made for r!Technoblade

One of Technos favourite items is his baby rattle. It has a handle of smooth birch wood, curved and rounded in places to make it easier to hold and wraps just around the base of a clear orb. It’s filled with bits of emeralds, small flecks of gold and tiny golden bells. The emeralds are about the size of peas, small enough to shake around but still large enough that when light shines through the right way there’s little shines of green that shimmer across the floors and walls.

Techno wants to wear his cape because of the security and familiarity but one time he got food on it and freaked out so much Philza stayed up for the next few nights making him a regression safe one. There’s no lining so it’s extra light, made from wool that philza brushed multiple times before weaving and knitting it together. He gently brushed over the knit, making the wool pull and puff out so when he was finished it was practically a giant fluffy blanket.

Teethers were one of the first things Philza got for him, when regressed Techno has an oral fixation and tends to chew on the ends of his shirt sleeve, fingers, whatever’s closest. Because of this he has multiple teethers that Philza has gotten him, all of them custom made to be small enough to fit either between his tusks or behind them. Most of them are a type of rubber strong enough for Techno to grind between his teeth without breaking.

If regressed Techno is whiny, Little Steve is the one thing that will calm him down almost immediately. Little Steve is a small polar bear stuffed animal, filled with down feathers that over time had either fallen off of Philza or he collected from preening. Attached to Little Steve is a long ribbon with a pacifier, made large enough to fit in his mouth comfortably and with no back so his tusks wouldn’t get in the way. The ribbon is long enough so Techno can have the paci in his mouth and hug Little Steve tight to his chest at the same time.

eeee yes yes!!! Here’s some of his main tells!

Like I said in that ask, if Techno is between headspaces he will try his best to stay big and Philza knows this!! But Philza also knows he can’t just go up and start babying him, if anything that’d just make Techno push it away more, confrontation and all that. So there’s never really a time when Philza can just *bonk* small time (as much as he’d love to) it’s more of… *gentle push* small time.

There’s a chest kept stocked with stacks of things like wool, sugar cane, grass blocks, non perishables that are on the softer side - sometimes Philza will give Techno a random number of items, asking if he can count them out for him. Phil has gotten it down to a science of when to ask him so most of the times Techno will stop whatever he’s doing (usually mostly meaningless tasks to keep himself preoccupied), he’ll stare at the items for a few seconds and then take them to a table, putting the items down and counting them out one by one as he puts them in his inventory. (if he’s still big Techno will laugh him off and say “count them yourself, old man”)

The counting helps calm him down. Helps his brain and chat slow and he can lean into the warm fog that overtakes as he mentally grows younger and younger. When he’s done counting he’ll go over to Philza (who makes sure to stay close by) hand out the items and tell him how many of each. Sometimes it’s with pride and excitement and sometimes it’s so mumbled Philza can’t even hear but he always smiles and tells him, “Oh, good job, thank you so much! Do you want to help me count some more?” and if he’s still not feeling small enough he’ll nod and Philza will go pull out some more items for him, handing them over with a “Careful now, they’re pretty heavy.” or, “Thanks for the help, little man.”

So biggest tell is not touching Philzas wings. They are best friends™️ and casually preening while walking by has become basically second nature to Techno, always straightening out or combing through slightly ruffled feathers. But for small Techno that is number one rule do not touch Philzas wings because wings are Pretty and he Wants and that leads to Grabbing which… ouch. So usually anytime Philza hears hoof beats behind him, then some slight shuffling, then a few steps back, and maybe a tiny step forward, he can pretty much guarantee there’s a Techno that’s slipping into headspace behind him.

Another big one is That Look. The one where Technos eyes kind of glaze over as he tries to focus on a spot and you can practically see his Big worries melting away. Usually this one happens when he’s been trying to push it off (if he’s between headspaces Techno will more often than not try everything he can to stay big) and is more involuntary. Techno is always go, go, go so Philza notices this one pretty easily. Usually giving him a soft, “Hey, mate.” and Techno will drag his eyes over, looking at him but not Really and Philza just knows. He’ll smile at him and reach up, scratching at that one spot just behind his ear that makes Techno close his eyes and make soft baby Piglin noises, helping his friend fall as softly as he can into being small.

Reading on the floor! Toddler Techno simply does not have the Time to bother with chairs or proper sitting posture so Philza will sometimes find him sprawled out in front of the fire or just right there beside the bookshelves, hunched over and completely immersed in his world of pictures.
