i think he’s alright but he’s very much one of those people that will just avoid drama if he can help it, even if that may involve being kind of a dick in the long run. I can understand his pov especially having such a large audience, it can be harder to be receptive to these thing. It doesn’t make it the right thing to do but it is what it is.

& he is a bit pretentious sometimes but he’s been a lot better about it lately, i feel like i can’t judge much b/c i can be a pretentious ass about things i care about too. a lot of people can.

i’m also “pretentious” in the sense that modern/surreal art is some of my favorite shit so a lot of people go “ugghhh” at me when i start talkin about how much i like them lmao. so i don’t really like that being a criticism

however the avoiding drama thing is incredibly true, and like you said i know why he avoids it. he’s said before that he doesn’t like how much youtube channels have become about drama and fighting, and even when he commented on a situation with a big name youtuber, he deleted the VOD where he ever talked about it and that part was never put on fullsauce. 

i think it’s for the best even if it gets frustrating when he refuses to acknowledge things that are important. he sometimes talks about them though and he tends to have an informed opinion when he does. i think part of him not saying much is because he knows he won’t have anything educated to add

someone in chat once asked him what he thought of fidel castro’s death and his response was something along the lines of “what? you really expect me to have an informed opinion on this? ME???”
