"Really? Because he looks like he is in pain."

Lost raises an eyebrow skeptically as Ace left to clean his finger

Gale looks over to Ace, then back at Tara, before his gaze wanders to Lost again.

"She may have overdone it a little, however... If you look closely at her, there's not a hint of malice, so I will stick with my earlier assessment that it was a love-bite and not meant to hurt him. That being said..."

He sighs and turns to Tara once again.

"Tara, you should probably apologize to Ace for hurting him, even if it wasn't intentional. Please try to make a good impression on our guests, yes?"

"Gale, you don't have to worry about my sister licking the spider, she screamed when the spider fell on her."

—Ace.

"Don't listen to Ace, he is exaggerating."

—Lost

Gale chuckles.

"Ah, so she's like a certain someone I know. The last time Fern saw spider, she was hiding behind me and frantically begging me to launch a fireball at it, while I tried to explain that no, I will not shoot a fireball at a tiny spider in the middle of my reading room."

Fern lets out a long deep sigh.

"And you never let me live it down now."

Ace walks by with a pack of chips.

"Gale, I will share some of the chips with you if you don't tell my sister that I took the last pack of our favourite chips. And yes, in theory we could just get another for her, but I just want to see her reaction."

Ace says as he offers some chips to Gale to share.

Gale gives Ace a suspicious look. "Are you trying to make me an accomplice in your chips stealing crimes?"

Then, he chuckles, taking a couple of chips and eating them. "I like it. I'll even cover for you, my friend."
