I am done with whining about Guns
Okay here I am going to break down the asinine problem with gun control.
1. Last year some idiot creates a highly fragmented and even later gets charged (though later acquitted) for a movie showing fetal material being sold. Instant reply is to defund Planet Parenthood and a social fucking ruckus.
2. People dislike "the socialists" and so we have wasted years with the GOP trying to defund and get rid of the ACA.
3. When 9/11 occurred instantly later we invented a new agency the TSA and later the Department of Homeland Security. We have made it literally that each time a problem happens with planes new safety regulations occurs. When I go on a plane I am checked for food contents, all my liquids get tossed out, my hands at time are checked for bomb residue, and I get body scanned. Let's all agree to fly from just a city to next at times can be a hassle, do not even talk about how it can be to go across borders! Oh did we forget that you can't carry knives or sharp objects in your carry-ons? AND ONLY SKY MARSHALS can have guns on planes.
4. People actively track the sale of fertilizer and because of meth I can't buy sudafed over the counter anymore. This shit is all tracked. This shit was all legislated against because there was a problem.
Since 2013, there have been 1,000 mass shootings in 1,260 days. That's about .7 shootings a day, or roughly a 70% chance that someone is going to go on a rampage and shoot people. In that time 1,135 people have been slained, 3.944 are dead. Nearly 3,000 people died in 9/11.

In the past twenty years there have been about 36,000 bombing incidents and about 699 people have been killed.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16394919
Homeland security actively has a website educating people about the dangers of bombs. https://www.dhs.gov/bomb-making-materials-awareness-program
Not going to toss in meth stats, but lets quickly concluded. In 9/11 more people died in one instant than have died in mass shootings in the past 3 years. With bombings fewer have died in 20 years than three years. In both cases the government has actively tried to change and enforce rules. In both cases people have actively rallied to change rules. I mean for the love of god we get monitored by the CIA!
But guns somehow get a pass. Every damn timed there has been a call for gun control there have been complaints, obfuscation, and whining. Yes, whining. I don't care if Chicago magically "fudges" the damn numbers. That's not fucking relevant. What is relevant is somehow a good chunk of states don't require you to do a background check for gun sales:http://www.governing.com/…/gun-show-firearms-bankground-che…
What's even more angering is that there is further problems:http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/w…/features/20090923_gun_study/
Should I mention that stats show that 75% of women killed by their partners were done so with a handgun? http://www.vpc.org/fact_sht/domviofs.htm
Look. You can beat around the bush as much as you want. But let's face it. The US has a gun problem. This is not a people problem, this is a gun problem. You have no universal background checks (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_background_check), and even if somehow bans and regulations would increase illegal gun sales. I don't think its worse than people who can easily fucking purchase a gun and then go shoot an entire club full of people!
Note I'm not even including the damn racial angle of all this crap! But let's be truthful, we have a gun problem. It needs to be fixed, it needs to be fixed now, and ignoring it willl not stop the damn problem!
/dropmic, shoots confetti flips off NRA.
