I strongly believe God gives us #imagination to move beyond where we are to where we desire to be. Imagination, or more specifically, #visualization, works similarly in the #pursuitoffitness. SEEING myself GAINING #fitness, #strength, #definition, #conditioning, #stamina, #muscles; IMPROVING, LOSING (weight, inches, clothing sizes) is INTEGRAL to the #WORKOUT. Mind and body should be connected, working together, WHILE working out. VISUALIZING #biceps shedding fat and becoming more lean, WHILE doing those #bicepcurls, MAKE those biceps HAPPEN! Visualizing is a way your body "takes you seriously;" it's an investment, of sorts, SEEING it NOW makes it HAPPEN LATER. (a photo of a younger you helps, too! That body can be regained.) So, WATCH your #quads while #lunging or #squatting; IMAGINE your #pectorialis (chest muscles) shredding and lifting, while doing #pushups; and think your #Core360 getting stronger for GREATER AB-BACK support and sleeker look in your clothing, while holding your #plank ( RESPECT!). The Bible states, "As a person thinks of him-/herself, so is he/she," Proverbs 23:7 (paraphrased). Yes, if you can SEE (VISUALIZE) IT, you can BE it.
