velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who follows you around the apartment like a lost puppy, arms wrapped around your waist from behind while you try to cook dinner. he keeps nuzzling your hair and mumbling how good you smell, his big hands sliding under your shirt just to feel your skin because being away from it for even a minute makes him restless.
velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who gets annoyingly pouty when you try to sit on the couch without him. before you can even get comfortable he’s pulling you onto his lap, chest pressed to your back, chin on your shoulder, whispering “stay right here, baby. need you close” in his deep voice.

velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who loves carrying you everywhere. grocery shopping? you are in his arms. laundry day? he’s got you on his hip while he folds clothes one handed. he says it’s because he wants you close but really he just loves feeling your thighs squeeze around him.
velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who gets stupidly turned on just from cuddling. you’ll be innocently spooning on the couch and suddenly you feel him getting hard against your ass, his breath hot on your ear as he grinds slow and needy. “can’t help it when you’re this soft against me, baby. please let me have you.”
velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who’s so annoying and sweet when he’s horny. he’ll follow you into the shower just to press you against the tiles, dropping to his knees so he can taste you with water running down his broad shoulders, moaning like he’s the one getting spoiled while his strong hands keep your thighs spread open for him.
velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who fucks you like he’s scared you might disappear. deep, desperate thrusts, forehead pressed to yours, eyes locked on your face so he can watch every little expression you make. he keeps whispering “mine, mine, all mine” between kisses, hands gripping your hips hard enough to leave marks he’ll kiss better later.
velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who refuses to pull out after he cums. he stays buried inside you, holding you tight to his chest while he catches his breath, lazily rocking his hips just to feel you clench around him a little longer. “don’t move yet… need to feel you like this for a while.”
velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who gets all blushy and shy after sex but still will not let you leave the bed. he tucks you against his side, one arm locked around your waist, the other stroking your hair while he tells you how much he loves you.
velcro boyfriend!reiner braun who sends you ten texts in a row if you’re out with friends for too long, each one getting needier. “baby i miss you” “come home soon” “the bed feels too big without you” until you finally walk in and he’s waiting by the door ready to lift you up and carry you straight to the bedroom so he can remind you exactly how much he needs his girl.
needy!reiner is always with you, he's your shadow. sometimes you don't even realize he's behind you, but when you turn, you're met with a huge wall of muscle. he's like a dog following you around with his tail wagging between his legs. you get up in the middle of the night to pee? when you walk out of the bathroom half-awake after washing your hands, reiner's outside the room, rubbing his eyes with one hand as he guides you to bed with the other. you're doing anything that only requires one person? well, he's there too for moral support! you're cooking or in the waiting line at a restaurant? he's right behind you with his burly, arms wrapped around your waist and his warm chest pressed against the small of your back.
needy!reiner pouts when you don't touch him back. he'll be lying his head on your lap, fully expecting you to scratch his scalp or back, and you avoid doing either. instead, you're focused on the book he got you, which he regrets because it's been taking up all of your time. he huffs and frowns when your hands continue flipping through pages, not running your hands through his soft, now healthy hair instead, and occasionally he nuzzles his face further into your thigh with hopes that you'll pay attention to him.
needy!reiner feels sooo bored when you 'abandon' him for even a couple of hours! he wonders how you could be entertained without him. when getting you're dressing up for a girls night, he's sitting behind you on the bed, staring at you solemnly like you're packing your suitcase, off to war, but you're just putting on some mascara to look good for yourself and your girls! reiner can't help but ask multiple times, "when will you be back?" or "how long will you be gone?" with hopes to stall you from leaving. he stands beside you with a frown as you've already put on your heels, ready to be picked up by one of your friends. when you stand on your tippy-toes and place a kiss on his lips, he wraps his arms around your waist tightly, not wanting to let go.
needy!reiner doesn't know what to do with himself once you're actually away. he'll occasionally text you to ask how the hangout is with your girls, but he never asks you to return immediately— he hates feeling needy or utterly worthless without you. after all, you told him that he needs to be his own person, and he's trying to listen without seeming only like an obedient dog, though he does like it when you make decisions for him at times.
needy!reiner who, when you come home, takes your shoes off for you and lets you ramble on and on about your get together with your girlfriends. he's missed your voice even after a couple of hours, and he's glad you're back. now, he can feel secure, and the two of you can be within a few feet of each other at all times!
i also saw a needy!reiner hcs post so it made me happy that the author and i were thinking of the same things!
needy!reiner who is almost always by your side. arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you dangerously close to his muscular, toned chest. He never lets go, not even for a second. there hasn’t been a moment in your relationships where he hasn’t had his hands on you.
needy!reiner who gets so, so emotional when he doesn’t find you next to him in bed. you’re in the bathroom brushing your teeth and you hear soft sobs, and the saddest whimpering you’ve even heard. it’s your sweet reiner, he’s curled up on the sheets, holding a pillow for comfort. all of that trauma from the previous war made him feel so frightened, afraid, desperate for a warm body, like yours, to keep him safe. he calls for you, and you dash out the bathroom like never before. you wrap your soft, delicate arms around him, holding his big body close to you. you whisper to him, ensuring him that all is well, and that you’re here, and there’s nothing here to hurt him.
needy!reiner who is always so desperate to please you. he’s afraid of you leaving someday, so he always tries to be the perfect boy, cleaning the house, doing the dishes, taking out the trash, any chore and he’ll do it, all for your approval.
needy!reiner who suffers from nightmares at night. he thrashes around in bed, whimpering with the somber tone of fright. his eyes dripping with tears. the sounds wake you up, and you turn to your side. your eyes making out the scene of a terrified reiner. you move over to him, hands cupping around the cheeks of face. his eyes flutter awake, darting towards you. “I was so scared..” he moans, he pulls you onto his chest, cupping your head. “it’s okay, baby. I’m here..” you coo, looking into his shimmering, golden brown eyes.
𖦹 reiner braun loses his mind seeing you in a bikini.
you adjust the pieces of fabric around your chest and waist while staring into the mirror of the bathroom at the local pool. your new boyfriend, reiner, waits outside. it's the first summer since you started dating, and this will be the most of you he's ever seen.
you take a deep breath, wish on your lucky star, and step outside. you're slightly freaking out about how you look. what if it's not good enough for him? what if he's disappointed?
you peek up from your eyelashes and look at him, biting your lip softly. he doesn't say anything, he barely even reacts. his mouth falls open slightly and his eyes widen in a way that's almost unnoticeable. in that moment you just want to sink down into the tile grout below you and never be witnessed again. your shoulders slump and you let your flowing hair cover your face as you often do.
he approaches you and gently holds your shoulders, giving you a soft look.
"[name]," is all he says, he almost looks like he's going to cry, "you're the most beautiful thing i've ever seen."
"really?" you ask genuinely, light coming back to your face.
he chuckles, "really! you might be a goddess."
you do a bashful twirl for him, your swim skirt swaying around you. reiner can't contain it anymore and just kisses you sweetly.
It was clear to everyone– Reiner had lost a good twenty pounds throughout the years before the Rumbling. You noticed as well, and were worried.
But it’s been three years since then, and Reiner has definitely gained back his lost weight.
To put it simply, he looked delicious.
The love handles he had whenever he wore tighter pants, the huge amounts of muscle he had all over his body. He had never looked better, to be honest.
Entering his room on the ship, you find Reiner shirtless, staring at himself in the mirror.
“Paradis is within view.” You shut the door, walking over to where he was standing, glancing at the two of you in the mirror.
“Do you think I’ve gained back too much weight?” The question was sudden; you had assumed Reiner was happy with his current weight.
“What?” Grabbing his shoulders, you turn Reiner away from the mirror, forcing him to look at you. “Why would you say that? You looked incredible, Reiner.”
He shrugs in response, expression solemn. “I don’t know. I just feel like I have too much fat on me, and-“
“Stop it,” you cut him off, voice firm. “You’re not overweight. You’re strong and the muscle you have adds a lot to what you weigh.”
Sliding your hands down his chest, you pay close attention to his pecs and abs, tracing small patterns on his skin with your finger.
“I just want to see you healthy. You put on the weight you needed, and I prefer you with a little extra on you. You look strong and intimidating.”
Reiner finally smiles, a small blush on his face. “Thank you, that means a lot.”
“Get dressed,” you nod towards his dress shirt, which is slung over the bed frame. “It won’t be long until we’ve docked.”

Contains: (In order) Reiner, Bertholdt, Jean, Marco, Armin, Eren, Mikasa, Porco, Pieck, Colt, Niccolò, Levi, Erwin, Hange.
All characters are over 18.
✩ Reiner Braun
One thing about Reiner is that he adores the outdoors. Whether your date is a simple walk through the snow – the quality time is what really matters to him. Though, at your suggestion of attending the Christmas market in Marley; he could simply not deny. The day was spent wandering, weaving between people and different stalls, always stopping whenever you wanted to look at something.
He’d hand you his gloves and buy you warm drinks and various snacks, ensuring at every chance he got that you were warm and safe. All and all, he ended up with a cold – claiming it was worth it as you were kept warm and happy with what you’d brought.
✩ Bertholdt Hoover
Bertholdt had made it abundantly clear from the moment you’d met him that he hated the cold, and while you’d respected his wishes in staying inside around the colder months; it’d gotten to a point where you’d taken it upon yourself to book the two of you in for an ice skating date.
The rink had – luckily – been relatively quiet when you’d gone, Bert slipping as soon as he made it on, causing you to laugh a tremendous amount at his expense, almost slipping yourself in the process. However, he did eventually get the hang of it (Five slips and a bruised back later.) It was safe to say he ended up cheering you on from the sidelines, leaning against the railing – skates by his side as he watched you slowly but surely lap the ice.
The evening ended with lots of hugs, fresh coffee and cinnamon buns in your local cafe. A sulky man with a bruised ass and a happy partner. What more could he possibly ask for?
✩ Jean Kirstein
The coming of winter meant Jean’s love language of gift-giving was increased by tenfold, though, this year he’d gone all out. A two day trip to the most stunning Ski resort. A gorgeous cabin with a view over the mountains, skiing in the mornings and fancy restaurants for dinner where he looked at you like you were his everything.
The trip was filled with constant laughter and love. Though, the highlight was surely Jean sliding down on his skis and attempting – and succeeding – to drag you with him, a wide, boisterous grin on his face at the unimpressed look you gave him as you landed at the end. (All was compensated for with kisses and lots of hugs, a night spent by the fireplace.)
✩ Marco Bodt
Marco has always loved the snow, the sound of it crunching under his feet and the freshness of the earth that came with it. And so, when it snowed in Jinae he practically jumped for joy – begging to go out for a walk. The two of you walked down to the fields by your flat and you were immediately instructed to go and gather sticks and pebbles.
You gathered estranged twigs and holly for hair, coming back to two lumps of snow, stacked on top of each other in a sort of tower. Marco helped you bring the snowman to life, placing holly on as you ran off – sneaking up behind him with a snowball, delivered straight to his face as he turned at just the wrong time.
You’d cleaned off his face with your scarf – apologising profusely as he pouted, feigning upset at your actions.
✩ Armin Arlert
Loves to stay inside, the two of you make a pillow fort with blankets and teddies to stay huddled together. He’d created a snack platter with fruits and sweeties, creating a massive bowl of popcorn as you searched for a movie. It took some convincing – though after peppering your face in smooches, you finally agreed – a Star Wars marathon.
You only actually made it through the first two films due to the fact that after each one you spent at least an hour nerding out about it, speculating and theorizing every detail and easter egg you’d seen. All snacks were demolished and the two of you ended up falling asleep halfway through the third film.
✩ Eren Jeager
Calling it a date was a bit of a stretch. More like a competitive snowball fight in which you’d been captured for the last hour. Though, much to Eren’s dismay, you were winning. When one too many snowballs finally met his body he lunged. Chasing you through the snow and tackling you, strategically twisting so he would take the brunt of the fall.
Groaned every time you brought up your win, gets fussy when you refuse a round two purely because you know you’ll be pelted and he can’t accept losing. Warm baths together as soon as you arrive back at the house, thoroughly soothing the cold ache within your bones.
✩ Mikasa Ackerman
Dating Mikasa had taught you many things about her, and one of those was that she absolutely loved to be busy. She presented you with two tickets to an amusement park that goes Christmas themed during the winter seasons. Absolutely adores walking around with you and will be obsessively checking wait times for lines.
Agreed to wearing (Subtly) matching elf jumpers with you, both being green, though they had different ribbons used for decoration. Expresses the joy she had throughout spending the day together, though claims her favourite part was buying candied apples from a stall you’d found tucked away.
✩ Porco Galliard
Adores being outside when it’s snowing, insisting you lay down in the snow with him to make snow angels. Hot coffees were brought beforehand to warm up. You both enjoyed a beautiful walk through the woods, everything glistening in the snow. You’d managed to get a photo of him drawing a heart in the snow.
Tackles you (lovingly) to the ground when you make fun of his softness – trying to keep his manliness. Laughs as the two of you sit in the snow for a while, gossiping while trying not to freeze your asses off. Both of you ended up getting sick, but the joy of the moment had managed to override the less than fortunate outcome.
✩ Pieck Finger
Found the most adorable Christmas themed workshop to attend together. There was a range of activities to choose from but you both settled on a pottery and wine experience. The two of you spent the afternoon cackling away while your artistic skills failed to translate onto the poor mug you had chosen.
Pieck ended up having a glass of wine too many, and the Christmas tree on her mug ended up with a peenar on top instead of star. It still looked pretty. When you took it home you placed it on the shelf next to the cringey couples photoshoot she had insisted you took a few years ago. Both smiles on your faces were reflective of the true joy within your soul.
✩ Colt Grice
Woke you up to the sound of him shouting “Baby, oh my God it’s snowing! Hell yeah!” then essentially getting zoomies and running around in your local field for 15 minutes straight, jumping around like it’s nobody's business. After said 15 minutes are up he waddles over, nose red and cheeks flushed as you wrap his scarf back around his neck, mumbling;
“I hate the snow. I’m cold, please take me home.” While having the look of a neglected puppy on his face. You took him home and the two of you decided to try out the mulled wine kit you’d been gifted by Bertholdt and his Girlfriend when they came back from their recent trip. Long story short, both of you got absolutely smashed and woke up sat by the backdoor in wet clothes, leant against each other. Worth it.
✩ Niccolò
Loves a foodie date. The two of you went down to the local farmers market and picked up several ingredients to make a soup. It was cold, but he ensured you were properly wrapped up before you went out. He tied your apron and the two of you got to work, making croutons to go on the side. The house was warm and smelled fresh, homely.
Dinner was eaten on the couch under blankets while you watched the next episode of your favourite show together, washing up and having a night of comfort.
✩ Levi Ackerman
Told you as soon as he saw the snow outside that he didn’t want to leave the house. Instead he helped you to bake and decorate some cute cookies. You did most of the baking, he hovered around and stopped you from making too much mess. Levi did, in fact, ask you to help clear up. You complained and so he pulled up a chair and told you to keep an eye on the cookies and so they wouldn’t burn.
Was done cleaning by the time that the cookies were done. Helped you make the frosting while they were cooling down. Didn’t mind when you almost fell over laughing after smearing frosting on your face, instead he wiped it off his cheek with his thumb and attempted to dot it onto your nose.
✩ Erwin Smith
Erwin had already planned several dates at the beginning of December, scheduling around seeing family and friends. At the beginning of the month he had planned to go and see an outdoor art exhibition, looking at stunning glass garden works. One thing he hadn’t planned ahead for was the weather. So when he saw the (thinnest) layer of snow on the ground he came up to you and insisted you to wear what felt like a million layers of clothes.
You complained that you were sweating despite the low temperature, however, at the end of the day you did end up saying he was correct. Feeding right into his ego which made him light up almost as bright as your Christmas tree.
✩ Hange Zoe
You honestly hadn’t heard from them in about a week, though, that was relatively normal for such a “mastermind.” Though, when they missed the date you had planned you showed up at their apartment, ready to wage war. Instead, you were met with an unshowered and very excited partner, holding up a small glass box.
They dragged you into the house, the place looking a mess, but when they placed the box into your hand all was forgiven. A tiny, gorgeous snowflake lay rest, labeled “To my love.” etched on the front of the glass in messy cursive. It was so unique, and so unbelievably Hange.
contains intense romantic tension, heavy making out, suggestive content, strong physical contact, mild dominance themes, teasing dynamics, swearing, interruption during intimate moment, fluff, no actual smut
He collapsed the moment they made it back behind the treeline, armor cracking off him like broken stone, steam rising from his skin. You caught him before he hit the ground, arms hooking under his shoulders. He was shaking, breath ragged, eyes unfocused in a way that made him look terribly, painfully human.
“Easy, big guy,” you muttered, half-teasing, half-worried. “You’re heavy, you know that?”
Reiner huffed something like a laugh, but his head dropped against your shoulder as if even holding it up was too much. His voice was ruined, “Don’t… let go,” he breathed.
You didn’t plan to. Not when you felt him trembling like that. Not when he finally let someone hold him.
You got him into your room, door shut behind you, guiding him toward the bed. He sat down heavily, elbows on his knees, hands dangling uselessly. Steam still curled off his skin. He looked like he’d been scraped raw.
You brushed his damp hair back. “Hey. Look at me.”
His eyes lifted, dark, heavy, full of something he never let people see. Fear, guilt, exhaustion and something warmer underneath that he tried to hide every time you made him smile during training.
He swallowed hard. “I don’t want to be alone tonight,” he said quietly.
You blinked at him, softening without meaning to. “I wasn’t planning on going anywhere.” You sat beside him, your shoulder pressing against his. “Though, to be fair, you look like you could crush me if you roll over.”
Reiner’s mouth twitched—the smallest hint of a smile. “I wouldn’t let that happen.”
“That’s a shame,” you teased lightly, nudging him. “I think it’d be a funny way to go.”
He shook his head, breath escaping in a broken laugh. Then he reached for you—not forceful, just a warm, heavy hand sliding to your waist, fingers curling as if he needed to anchor himself to something real.
His forehead pressed to your temple. “Thank you,” he murmured, voice deep and quiet. “For being here.”
Your heart tugged in a way you’d never admit out loud. But you leaned in, letting your nose brush his cheek. “You make it sound like I don’t like you.”
Reiner exhaled, slow and shaky. “Sometimes I think you don’t.”
“Oh, please,” you scoffed gently. “I treat everyone else like shit. You get the deluxe package.”
He let out a quiet laugh, the soft kind he only ever gave you.
You helped him lie down, and eventually you crawled under the blanket with him, your back pressed to his chest. He wrapped his arm around your waist automatically. His breath hit the back of your neck, warm and uneven until it slowly steadied.
You thought he’d fallen asleep. But then—“…Don’t leave when I’m out,” he whispered, half-conscious. “Stay when I wake up. Please.”
Something in your chest squeezed painfully, and you laced your fingers with his. “I’ll be right here.”
The first thing you registered in the morning was weight—heavy, solid, immovable. The second was warm breath ghosting across your shoulder blade.
You blinked awake, realizing you were stuck in some strange position, half on your stomach, half on your side and he was sprawled half over you like a human boulder who’d decided that you, specifically, were his emotional support mattress.
Your face was mashed into the pillow. Your spine was protesting. Your legs were trapped. “Holy shit—” you muttered, trying to stretch at least one limb to prove you were still alive.
A large hand instantly slid to your waist and pulled you back in.
“Don’t,” his voice came from behind you, sleep-rough, deep enough to vibrate through your ribs.
You huffed. “Reiner, you are suffocating me.”
He didn’t even pretend to move. If anything, his arm tightened, dragging you a centimeter closer as if you were going to escape through the blankets. “A few hours ago,” he mumbled into your shoulder, “you said it’d be a funny way to go.”
“That was sarcasm. I wasn’t issuing a final wish.”
Reiner gave a low noise, half a tired laugh, half “too bad” and shifted just enough for his chin to rest against the curve of your shoulder. His hair tickled your neck. You felt the full weight of his chest settle against your back again.
He was clinging. Not subtly. Not politely. Just unapologetically attached. “You’re so warm,” he said, as if that justified everything.
“You’re crushing me.”
“You’re still warm.”
You tried to turn your head to glare at him, but his arm trapped you in place with unfair ease. He wasn’t even fully awake—just operating on pure instinct, and apparently his instincts demanded maximum contact.
“You know,” you muttered into the pillow, “for someone built like an entire fortress, you’re weirdly needy.”
Reiner actually smiled, you felt it, slow and soft, against your shoulder. “Only in the mornings,” he murmured. “And only with you.”
Your heartbeat did something embarrassing. You tried to cover it with sarcasm. “Wow. I should print that out and hang it on the wall.”
His fingers slid idly along your waist, barely-there touches meant to keep you anchored under him. “Go ahead,” he whispered. “Put it right above your bed.”
You scoffed. “Yeah, so you can walk in and be horrified by your own words?”
“Mm.” He nuzzled closer, breath warm on your neck. “I’d still deny saying it.”
“Oh, so you’re a coward.”
He chuckled. The kind of laugh he only ever let slip around you. His hand shifted from your waist to your stomach, palm spreading over you like he needed to feel every breath you took.
He finally loosened his grip just enough for you to turn your head. When you did, you found his face inches away, eyes half-lidded, soft in a way that made your chest tighten. “Sorry,” he murmured, voice thick with sleep. “Didn’t mean to trap you.”
“You very much did.”
“Yeah,” he admitted, that sleepy honesty slipping through, “I did.”
You stared at him for a moment, heat spreading under your skin. He stared back, hair messy, cheeks faintly flushed, eyes warm in a way that should’ve been illegal. “You’re staring,” he said quietly.
“You’re on top of me like a weighted blanket with trust issues,” you replied. “What am I supposed to look at? The wall?”
Reiner’s lips curved into a crooked smile. “Could be worse.”
“How?”
He brushed your cheek with the back of his fingers so slow and careful, almost reverent. “I could’ve let go.”
Your breath caught. His thumb followed the curve of your jaw. His eyes softened in that way that always made you forget how to be sarcastic for three seconds.
He leaned just a little closer, forehead brushing yours. “Let me stay like this,” he whispered. “Just.. a little longer.”
Your sarcasm dissolved. Your voice softened without your permission. “Fine. But if I pass out from lack of oxygen, you’re explaining it to the commander.”
Reiner laughed softly and tugged you back against his chest like he was afraid to wake up alone. “I’ll take my chances.”
After a while he finally loosened his arm enough for you to shift, and when you turned toward him he looked different. Softer. Open in a way he never let himself be. Like the morning peeled away the armor he wore in daylight.
His eyes dipped to your mouth, then back to your eyes, and for a second he hesitated—like he was choosing between silence or honesty. “I like you,” he said quietly, voice smooth and low from sleep. “More than I should.”
Your breath stuttered a little. Not a lot. Just enough for him to notice—his lips tugging into the faintest smirk. “Oh great,” you muttered, trying to sound unaffected. “Just drop that on me while I’m stuck under your linebacker-ass.”
His laugh was warm against your cheek. “Figured you’d take it better while immobilized.”
“You’re hilarious,” you grumbled.
But then you shifted a little closer, just an inch, your forehead brushing the upper edge of his chest. His sweatshirt was soft, worn, smelling like pine and earth and something warm that was just him. You didn’t mean to, but you nuzzled in. A small, traitorous movement.
His hand slid to the back of your head, fingers threading through your hair in a shockingly gentle stroke. “You’re getting shy,” he murmured, voice dipped in a smile.
“I am not,” you hissed into his chest, which only made him cradle your head tighter.
“You are. I felt you melt,” he said, sounding maddeningly pleased with himself. “Went soft all at once.”
You shoved your arm under his sweatshirt intending to say something snarky as revenge but the second your palms touched his bare waist, his breath hitched and his grasp around you actually tightened.
His voice dropped, softer. Almost shy himself. “That—feels nice.”
You swallowed at the warmth of his skin, your fingers curving instinctively along the solid line of his back. “You’re warm as hell,” you muttered. “Feels like cuddling a radiator.”
“Strong praise coming from you,” he murmured.
“Shut up,” you said, burrowing further into him.
Reiner smirked into your hair, resting his chin lightly on top of your head. “So this is what it takes to get you quiet.”
“Do not get cocky.”
“Too late,” he whispered, brushing his thumb along your spine where your shirt had ridden up. His tone softened again, almost reverent. “I like you close.”
His words landed right in your chest—too gentle, too honest. You tried to deflect. “You’re only saying that because I’m keeping your giant emotionally fragile self warm.”
His arm slid fully around your waist now, pulling you flush against him, his lips brushing your hairline in something barely-there, like he wasn’t sure he had the right to give you a real kiss yet. “You can pretend all you want,” he murmured, voice a velvet rumble against your ear. “But you’re holding me just as tight.”
You were. Your arms were locked around him. Your face was buried in his chest. Your fingers were curled into the hem of his sweatshirt. “…stop it,” you whispered again, but softer—almost fond.
“I won’t,” he said gently. “Not when you’re this sweet.”
You groaned into him. “You’re the worst.”
“Mm,” he hummed, brushing his hand up and down your spine in slow, soothing strokes, “and you’re adorable when you try to hide how much you like me.” His forehead touched yours again, and with his voice barely above a whisper, “I meant what I said. I like you more than I should. And it feels good knowing you’re starting to like me back.”
Your chest tightened. Your sarcasm evaporated for a second. “…Shut up,” you whispered again, but he could hear the smile in it this time.
Reiner just held you, warm, gentle, quietly confident now with his thumb drawing lazy circles over your hip. “Not a chance.”
He was still holding you, entirely too comfortable, when you slid your hands under his sweatshirt again. Slowly. Intentionally. Fingers tracing the dip of his waist like you weren’t thinking at all about the effect it would have. But he felt it. God, he felt it.
Reiner inhaled sharply, chest stuttering against you. “Don’t—mmh—don’t do that.”
“Do what?” you asked sweetly, drawing a lazy line with your fingertips up his spine. “Touch you?”
He swallowed hard. “You know exactly what you’re doing.”
“Yeah,” you said, brushing your nose against his chest with a grin, “that’s why it’s fun.”
He pulled back just enough to look at you, eyes warm, cheeks flushed, jaw tight like he was trying to decide whether to scold you or kiss you senseless. “You’re unbelievable,” he muttered.
“And you’re predictable,” you shot back, poking his side.
He grabbed your wrist on instinct but not roughly. Just enough pressure to stop your hand from wandering further under his sweatshirt. His thumb brushed your pulse before he realized he was doing it.
Reiner froze. You smirked. He hated that he loved it.
“See?” you said softly. “You like this.”
“I—” his voice cracked, and he cleared it fast, “I didn’t say that.”
“Oh, no?” You leaned closer, eyes half-lidded with teasing. “Then why are you blushing?”
Reiner blinked hard. “I’m not—”
“You are.” you nodded.
“Stop—”
You gasped. “You really are!”
He sighed, long and suffering, running a hand over his face. “Why did I tell you I liked you? This is the worst thing I’ve ever done.”
“Be quiet,” you cooed, cupping his jaw with one hand, thumb brushing over the faint stubble on his cheek. “You adore me.”
His breath caught. You watched it happen. Felt the shift in him—his restraint fraying just a little. “…yeah,” he said softly. “I do.”
That should’ve shut you up but it didn’t. Instead you leaned in, barely an inch, voice a low tease. “So what are you gonna do about it, Braun?”
Reiner’s eyes flicked to your mouth. “Don’t start something you can’t finish,” he murmur-warned, voice dipping.
You leaned another inch. “Oh? Scared?”
He breathed out a shaky laugh. “Terrified.”
He leaned in too. Half an inch. Another. The air between you turning warm, tight, electric. Your noses brushed. He smirked. “You’re not as tough as you think.”
“Oh?” you whispered, lips grazing his. “Say that again.”
Reiner’s eyes lowered and he came closer, slow, torturous, deliberate. “I said—”
Your lips brushed his once, feather-light. A single, quick smooch.
“Oh my god,” he muttered, “that was so—”
“Cute?” you teased.
“Don’t,” he warned, fighting a smile. “I swear—”
“You want another one?” you chirped.
He gave you the dirtiest, softest, most flustered look you had ever seen—eyes narrowed, mouth curved, cheeks warm. “Yeah,” he admitted. “But not like that.”
Before you could quip back, Reiner’s hand slid to the side of your neck and pulled you in. Not forceful. Not rushed. Just sure.
“Come here,” he whispered. And then he kissed you properly this time. Slow at first, testing, savoring, like he’d been wanting it for weeks and didn’t dare move too fast. You felt his breath hitch against your lips, his other hand settling at your waist as if anchoring himself.
When he finally pulled back, barely an inch, he was smiling, “See?” he murmured. “Told you not to start.”
You arched a brow. “Shut up and do it again.”
He laughed and kissed you again, softer this time, as if the world outside the room didn’t exist. He barely gave you a second to breathe after the kiss before he shifted—hands sliding to your hips, strong and decisive. In one smooth pull, he hauled you over him as if you weighed nothing, and you landed straddling his lap with a surprised little sound.
You burst out laughing. He did too. “Oh my god,” you snorted, hands on his shoulders to steady yourself. “Warn a girl next time, damn—”
Reiner looked up at you like you were the sun and he’d been waiting years to feel warm. “No,” he said softly, sliding an arm around your waist, “I like surprising you.”
“You want to give me a heart attack?”
“Only a small one,” he murmured and then he tugged you down, guiding you against his chest.
Before you could say something sarcastic, his mouth found your throat. Not biting. Not harsh. Just warm lips, pressing, dragging, lingering—each kiss slow and rough enough to make your breath catch, gentle enough to make you melt.
“Oh,” you whispered, fingers curling into his sweatshirt, “so that’s how you wanna play?”
“Hm?” he hummed against your neck. “You complaining?”
“Yes,” you lied, tilting your head to give him more space. “Terrible. Absolutely awful.”
He smiled against your pulse, and you felt the warmth of it, the softness he tried to hide, the way he held you like you were something he’d dreamt of and never expected to touch.
His hands started to wander up your back, down your sides, circling your hips, exploring with slow, curious fingers.
You shivered at his touch and he paused, immediately.
“You okay?” he asked, voice dropping into that soft, deep tone he only used for you.
“Yeah,” you breathed, smirking because you could feel how nervous he suddenly was. “Keep going. You’re doing great. Gold star.”
He groaned. You brushed his jaw with your thumb. “Thought you liked my little comments.”
“I do,” he admitted, pulling you slightly closer. “Too much.” You laughed just a little, just enough for him to feel it—and leaned in until your noses nearly touched.
“So,” you teased, “rougher, huh?”
Reiner’s breath stuttered. Just barely. But it did. And he didn’t hide it well enough. “I didn’t— I wasn’t—” he tried, but you tilted your hips the slightest bit and his hands instantly tightened at your waist.
“Mhm,” you said smugly. “That’s what I thought.”
He glared—not angry, but flustered, overwhelmed, very obviously affected. “You’re impossible.”
“And you’re slow,” you shot back. “Try again.”
This time, he didn’t hesitate. Reiner’s hand slid up, fingers curling around the back of your neck and he pulled you down into a kiss that was nothing like the first one.
This one was hotter. Hungrier. Still gentle, but with a rough edge, like he was losing the ability to hold back.
You gasped quietly, and he swallowed the sound, kissing you deeper, thumb brushing your jaw, the other hand gripping your waist like he needed you grounded against him.
You pulled back just enough to whisper, breathless and smug: “See? Now we’re getting somewhere.”
Reiner let out a shaky laugh, “You keep pushing me,” he murmured, warm and low, “and I’m gonna push right back.”
“Good,” you said softly. “I want you to.”
He exhaled and kissed your throat again, slower this time, hands roaming like he was memorizing you.
Reiner’s mouth had barely left your throat when something in him changed, a low sound slipping from his chest as his hands tightened on your hips, guiding you down against him with a strength he’d been holding back until now.
“Reiner—” you breathed, your voice catching when he moved you again, rougher, firmer, his breath hot against your collarbone.
“Don’t—” he murmured, kissing under your jaw, “—don’t say my name like that unless you want me to lose every bit of restraint I have.”
“Oh?” you teased, breath shaking. “What’s left of it?”
He laughed deep and dark and so soft you felt it more than heard it. And then he rolled his hips up into you.
You gasped. He groaned. And the heat between you snapped from warm to dangerously intense in seconds.
Your hands gripped his shoulders; his slid down your thighs, pulling you tighter against him, his voice dropping to a low growl of—“Come here—”
And just as things were spiraling into something very difficult to walk back from—A knock. Loud. Too loud. “Hey, did you see Braun?”
Reiner went rigid beneath you so fast it was almost comedic. Your eyes widened. His hand flew instinctively to your waist, holding you still.
You did not stay still. You leaned in closer, slow as sin, and whispered, “Don’t make a sound.”
Then you shifted your hips—just a little. Just enough for his breath to catch in a strangled, muffled groan he tried desperately to swallow.
You kept your face perfectly neutral and called back: “No.”
Firm. Steady. Absolutely lying. The person outside paused. “…You sure? He’s not in the barracks.”
Reiner’s grip on your waist tightened—his jaw clenched, his eyes wide, begging you with pure panic to behave.
You didn’t. You tilted your hips again. Slight pressure. Enough to make his eyes squeeze shut and his head fall back against the pillow. He mouthed—Stop—please—Which only encouraged you.
“Nope,” you said, sweetly and with full eye contact as you moved again. “Haven’t seen him.”
Reiner’s hand shot to your thigh, fingers digging in, half a warning, half ‘oh god keep going‘.
The voice outside sighed. “Alright… let me know if he comes by.”
Footsteps faded down the hall. You waited until the silence fully settled. Reiner exhaled like a man who’d narrowly avoided death.
Then he looked at you. Flushed. Eyes dark and stunned and hungry and completely undone. “…You,” he whispered hoarsely, “are going to kill me.”
You leaned forward, hands sliding up his chest, your lips brushing his ear. “Maybe,” you whispered, “but you’ll die happy.”
His hands clamped around your hips, the restraint in his grip thin as paper.
after finishing all your classes, you felt tired and you wanted to go home but a notification popped up on your homescreen.
it’s your boyfriend, reiner. he wanted you to come to his football practice to watch him play.
your actual plans were chilling and studying in your dorm but reiner has other ideas.
you grabbed your phone and clicked onto his notification.
reiner: dear?
reiner: lovee
reiner: can you please watch my football practice today?
a small smile appeared on your lips. three notifications in a span of twenty seconds.
you felt tired and sleepy, but just sitting on a bench and watching him play won't take up all your energy.
he started to type again. you finally texted him that you’ll be there in ten minutes.
suddenly a picture of him popped up in your messages. it’s a photo of him in his jersey and gym shorts. his blonde hair clinging onto his sweaty forehead.
you noticed all the small details in the picture. like the way his jersey is covered with a bit of his sweat.
you make your way to the soccer field.
reiner stood at the side of the field, looking handsome in his jersey. he noticed you approaching him.
you saw him excusing himself to his friends and walk towards you.
“love,” he started.
“i thought for a minute you wouldn’t come.” you couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle. he grabbed your chin gently with two fingers.
“my friends are over there, waiting for me to play. you wanna say hello?” you quickly shook your head sideways.
“cmon, they won’t bite or something.” he placed his large hands against your cheek, caressing it gently.
“i know they won’t,” you took a deep breath before starting again.
“you know that i don’t like talking to people i don’t know.” he leaned in a bit, you could feel his hot breath against your lips.
his friends were asking him to come and start practicing for his upcoming match.
“will you at least sit down and watch me play?” you nodded and ran your fingers through his short messy hair.
“i’ll try my best for you.”
he jogged towards his friends who were waiting for him. he turned around to look if you’re still watching him.
you met his gaze and stuck your thumbs out to him.
he gave more energy in his moves this time, more aggressive and rough. it’s bc you’re watching him play.
after practice he walked over to you, wiping the sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand.
“how did i do, bae?” he says breathlessly while smoothing down his hair.
“amazing.”
he leaned in, his eyes on yours and his lips slightly parted.
then slowly he grabbed both of your cheeks gently with his hands, pulling you closer.
you pressed your lips against his.
he reacted quickly, kissing you back in the same way.
the kiss is gentle, passionate, everything that he knows you love. you pulled back, just a bit to see his face.
he still held your cheeks, breathing heavily.
“we’ll continue this at my house. okay, love?”
reiner asks this after practice any chance he gets, and it always ends the same.
you lying on your back on his king-sized bed. completely distracted by his kisses and touches.
he totally loves it and so do you.
