i've accused you before of ignoring my flaws and yet, haven't i done the same?

i was so fucking sure you were the one i adored when really, we both played the game

Elephant

i hope at your end

you found peace

a soul taken back

to where it first began

your life was strife

grief, and sheer misery

your humanity was boundless

your gentle grace a stream

where ever you went

i hope you found the joy

that you deserved,

this world wasn’t meant for you

and someday  when i close my eyes, i'll dream of stars  instead of you.

(but you are my galaxy).

i’m a lover, not a learner;

No one knows what they’re doing in life

And there’s beauty in knowing, we are all lost in unison

Doves cooing in dusk

Heaven contains angels

Yet, they still covet

The whispers of flames, the pull of humanity

“Oblivion”

little oblivion

which cries for comfort

among the shady sunflowers

a field in soft yellows

marching in step

days that always sigh

eyes bleed with intent

a mouth sore in attempt

every heart sees oblivion

every shape another memory

forming in a small pot

black and charred, alone

little oblivion

that hears the singing finch

a small lung wanting to be iron

cascading down their own mountain
