Gratitude

Gratitude is the first piece of SONGS OF HOPE, a new cycle of piano pieces, which I composed in March 2015. I recorded this piece spontaneously on 29.03.2015 at Urspelt Castle (L) on a Steinway D (with my iPhone) after my concert with Claudia Moulin-Galli.

Gratitude is dedicated to Fondation Cancer for the 10th edition of Relais pour la Vie to honor everyone whose lives have been touched by cancer. I had the pleasure of playing the premiere of this piece and a few other pieces during the opening ceremony of “Relais pour la Vie” on Saturday evening at Coque Arena. You can view the photo gallery here. I would like to thank Martine Neyen, the director of Fondation Cancer for her invitation to play at the “Relais”.

Relais pour la vie

Relais pour la vie est un événement communautaire, au cours duquel chacun célèbre le courage des personnes atteintes d'un cancer, rend hommage à ceux que le cancer a emporté et lors duquel on lutte ensemble contre la maladie en récoltant des fonds pour la Fondation Contre le Cancer.

A l'occasion de cette édition du Rallye de Wallonie, un équipage roulera en faveur de cette magnifique œuvre.
