Experiencing Failure after University Rejection

Nevertheless, I still regret that I didn't try to do my best at least it could've been a big help in making my scores higher than what it was. However a part of me would reassure myself that it wasn't God's will perhaps maybe that university wasn't really for me but who was I kidding, it was the IT one everyone dreamt of getting in. As if it wasn't any more terrible results of the university passers were submitted and none of those two had my name on the list. I know a total throwback! It was of course painful! It was of course humiliating and downgrading knowing you never passed their standards when you are an honour student in your school. What's more inconceivable is the fact that you did understand the questions and somewhat arrived with answers also written in the choices! It was simply lowering. I cried for hours, I cried at school and yes I also cried at home. There's no better place to cry than home you see... my parents of course helped me through it, tried lots of ways to calm me down especially in convincing me that it's not God's will. Although it calmed me and gave me enlightenment. I still couldn't understand why it wasn't. For days I would be somewhat lost. I was there but my mind drifted else where most of the time to my endless queries stocked up like a pile in my mind. But then days pass by and I'd be okay again. I was happy that my friends and classmates tried cheering me up even people I never thought will.
This experience was a total punch in the gut as well as a realization that I don't get what I want even if I try and pray. I don't get stuff handed to me in a silver platter always and sometimes I just don't get circumstances to be twisted according to my desire and favour. This experience helped me become more mature in thinking because after the rain there's no other way but for the ground to become firmer. I know that even if I didn't get in God has something planned for me better than what I can imagine and what I hoped for. I might have to wait and endure constant disheartening situations but I know He'll not make me overcome them alone.
If you're reading this and have gone into the same experience or is experiencing such things what I can say to you is you can get past that. It's alright to feel down because it's normal to be bound with such emotions but then again you have got to remember you're bigger than your problems and that life never stops there as long as you're living. We still have a long way to go and a lot to encounter for us to stay stuck in that moment. There's so many options and opportunities out there that may be better than you can imagine so go on and never stop fighting because life in this world is a never ending battle field wherein we're supposed to fight and win. We were created by the Lord to have a wonderful happy ending as long as you seek his help, guidance and love. He will always, and will surely help you so keep your head up! :)
