🕯Jo's Release Candle🕯

This candle was created to release anything unhelpful or that no longer serves a purpose. This can work for self/inner work or situations in the physical world, however, this is best used for self/inner work. I'd also like to mention that this also works best at Samhain or a Full Moon, but can be done at any time. This is designed to be done over a period of time, but this to your needs.
Ingredients
Black candle
Tinfoil
Patchouli (self-grounding, dried herb)
Frankincense (healing, essential oil)
Tiger's Eye (power, flow)
Snowflake Obsidian (bringing things to the surface)
What Do
Gather your materials. Think about the type of candle you would like to use. I used a tealight since I knew that I wouldn't be able to sit for hours to work on it. I only lit my candle for a few minutes every night during my evening devotional.
Now that you have your materials, and you are at the place you want to create this candle, this is the time that you would open a circle and ask any spirits or deities to be with you if you so choose.
Take a small piece of tinfoil and cover the wick of the candle. This will protect it. Now heat up the wax on the top of the candle. Try to work quickly now, so you won't have to reheat the wax. Sprinkle a little bit of the patchouli on the top, and drop three (3) drops of the frankincense essential oil, as well.
As for the crystals, I have little chips that I use. I also put them on the top of the candle. But if you don't have the chips, and you have whole crystals, you can just place them around while you are making this.
The entire time you are making this, focus on letting go. This is a releasing candle and can be used for the simplest of things. You could even set a certain thing that has been bothering you for a long time to be released while you work with this candle. Just make sure you are slathering this candle in your intent to accept things and then let them go away from you.
Once you're done, just take the tinfoil off the wick and the Release Candle is ready to be used~
