Case Study: The Aury Moore Band Throws A CD Release Party

So a concert or a party is supposed to cost money to put on right?  Yes, it will cost you a sizeable amount of cash if you do not already have something worked out with the venue who is supposed to host you.  Fortunately for many artists, knowing a friend who has a nice venue like a bar or club can work out for both parties.  The owners will benefit no matter what since there are going to be drinks served and people to be placated.  For the artist, they NEED a house or place to have a concert.  There needs to be access to gear, equipment, lighting, and power. A small investment should only set you back a few thousand dollars at a time if you know what you are doing.  Pre-selling tickets is a good way to guarantee funding for your concert, since the money is given up front regardless if they actually attend a concert.  Once you have people inside, it shouldn’t be hard to sell tickets at the door for a higher cost.  Believe it or not, a pre-release party can actually make you a great deal of money, sometimes around 10 times the amount it cost to put it on in the first place. http://www.hypebot.com/hypebot/2013/08/case-study-the-aury-moore-band-throws-a-cd-release-party-.html

One Inch Badge announce Sea Monsters 3 record release parties in London & Brighton

  Now in it's third year with 3 releases and 3 sold out festivals under it's belt, the Sea Monsters series comes with a rich heritage of unearthing and showcasing Brighton's most crucial talent. Previous years have included the likes of Cold Pumas, Tall Ships, Fear of Men, Sons of Noel & Adrian and Us Baby Bear Bones.

Muse Release Parties in Germany

Alright, as just confirmed by Rock at Sage in Berlin there will be a Muse release party on September 13. That means: Possibility to listen to the album the night before and buying it from midnight (I guess). And probably some more events in other (German) cities) on that date as well! YAY!!!
