Jenna walked across the front of the room to the door and pushed it open. As she walked through the door, she could sense the path of  her life changing, taking a new direction that would follow wherever that soft voice told her to go.

The room was dark and dusty. It seemed like no one had entered this room in a hundred years and yet that couldn’t be true if the officers had truly searched every room. The last of the fading sunlight fell on the desk in the center of the room. In the middle of the desk was an object with keys and a piece of paper stuck in it. Jenna walked over to the desk and sat on the chair behind it.
