The great thing about Terraria's worldbuilding is that it doesn't exist. Everything is determined by rule of cool. Only the barest attempt is made within the actual game to connect one thing with another, and the "official" "lore" is so off the wall and contradictory that it comes off as satire. It's beautiful and I wouldn't have it any other way
