Me, running to doodle my remi-taro rendition.

          Resting her head on his shoulder, she shifts mildly uncomfortably in the grass. Having been convinced to join him outside, she figured it'd be nice. A plethora of 'what can we do' back and forth with different suggestions, and they opted for cloud watching. He was kind enough to let her lay her head on his arm so it wasn't on the ground. She's nestled into his side and looking skyward. After him pointing out a cloud and it's shape, she takes a moment, looking around before pointing up.

          As if he could see where she was pointing to. "I see tha' one. I's like. . .shaped like a watermelon slice! See, i's bigger a' tha bottom, an' then on tha top i's like. . .slightly triangular. . .an' then those two holes could be where seeds are."

in the past few months, daydreaming has become somewhat of a hobby for atienne. can it even be called hobby ? it's more of a . . . habit he falls into the moment he's walking by himself. half tuned into the noises surrounding him. the motors of the passing cars, the chirping of the birds, the one - sided phone calls of other people and, as ever - present as they are, the gentle whispers that surround him day and night. he barely pays any attention to where he's walking, but until now it hasn't done him any harm.

nevertheless, it's too late when his eyes meet others and he bumps roughly into the person infront of him ❛ oh, pardon. ❜ hands move up to his shoulders, palms turned towards @remauriel. the first thing he expects to hear is a complaint. it's what is to usually follow a rought bump, but instread the first thing he hears is a whisper. another unfamiliar voice and then a whole collection of them. eventhough there is no one present but them, he feels a weight slung around his shoulders and a pair of lips pressed to his ear. it's a familiar feeling ( no matter how unwanted or unwelcome ) and he knows its culprit by heart. the twin scales. atienne can't make out much of what they say, but he gleans that they must recognize the person infront. ❛ do i . . . know you ? you seem oddly familiar ❜ he scours his brain for any memory, that might contain the other person, to no avail. confusion makes itself at home alongside the uncanny feeling of familiarity. ❛ did we graduate together ? ❜ it's his next safe bet. most people he recognizes are old classmates.

can they both be cryptic and radiate different ominous glows and still go to the aquarium together? Asking for a friend.

I AM SO ⸻ !! because all I imagine is remi and judith having different ominous glow vibes. remi out here radiating blistering light of holiness meanwhile judith's freak ass is just liminal void. and they're standing together oozing of this gunk. ( i like thinking it's something people are weirdly drawn too, even if its sending irrevocably unnamed fear.) Anyway also, please judith staring at remi squinting, cause even then, judith's little human brain is just "you should turn that off, I do not know what that is."

⸻ ( can I say remi's voice, i feel like it would give that effect lmao. ) if not, well then . . . judith is partial to ' quiet ' sort of sounds ; natural white noise ? ex. The sound of a breeze through leaves. or when you're underwater, that muffled and distant quietness. Judith hasn't realize this yet, but she gets a lot of peace from the everyday sounds of the comings and goings of the people around her, it's why she likes ' people watching. '
