Do you know that feeling when you have started writing a fanfic a while ago, stopped writing it and then read it again, thinking it's the worst thing ever? That's exactly how I feel right now about 'Remember July'... I don't even want to continue it. I still like the idea of it but I can't stand the chapters I wrote so far...

Chapter 2
9:20 am - London, Paul’s car
All five of the boys are sitting in the back of Paul’s minivan, smushed together. “Where’s our next interview?” Niall asks and pulls out his phone. “Some TV station I think... or another radio station? I don’t know, I got lost after that news show today in the morning” Liam responds. Harry is sitting next to Zayn, staring out the window, avoiding Louis’ eyes which have been resting on him since they entered the car. Paul is sitting in the front, driving and skipping through the different radio stations to find the one where the boys had just given the interview at. They pass by the busy streets of London, hundreds of people rushing from traffic light to traffic light, ignoring everyone else around them. “Did you ever think about what would’ve happened if we wouldn’t have done all this?” Harry asks nobody in particular, still deep in thought. “What?” Niall gives him a questioning look. “I mean... If we wouldn’t have joined X-Factor. If we were one of them now” Harry explains and points out the window. The boys give him an irritated look, confused how this thought found its way into his mind. None of them tries to answer his question but continue the things they had been doing before. The car stops at a red light, right in front of an old looking pub. The door is closed, the windows are dirty looking, keeping the world out of the things that are usually happening on the inside. Harry knows this place very well. He can still hear the voices yelling in his head, old men ordering beer, young people having the time of their lives. The band had gone there after one of their first recording sessions for their first album, getting themselves into massive trouble with their management afterwards. It was a crazy night, he remembers. A small part inside of him misses those carefree days, the days where no unknown people with cameras followed them around, screaming out their names and documenting every step they took. The days where things had been easy. Easy with the fans. Easy with the management. Easy with Louis. He shakes his head, trying to end all those thoughts, as a familiar sound rings in his ears; his phone. The screen lights up in the right pocket of his jeans, signalizing him that he had just gotten a text message. After a couple of seconds of thinking about ignoring it, Harry decides to check, in case it was something important. As he presses the little button on the bottom, a text box shows up. “What’s wrong? Talk later?” it says right underneath Louis’ name. Harry looks up, expecting to meet his deep blue eyes with his own one more time, but gets disappointed. Louis is sitting across from him, staring out the window and listening to his iPod. The phone that he had just sent the message with is still resting in his hand. Harry looks back down on the screen where his fingers are typing a short answer; “Nothing, I’m fine”. He turns back to the window, avoiding any possible proving looks. A second later his phone lights up again, showing Louis’ answer; “Who are you trying to fool? I know you”. ‘I know you’, those words keep repeating in Harry’s mind. The exact same words Louis had said inside of that pub after a deep discussion they had. He can still feel the intense effect of the alcohol in his head that he had experienced that night. It seems to him like it had been forever ago.
