i want to write a realistic objectum story so baad (literally nothing is stopping me)

#i just have so many OTHER stories to write.#so I'm just gonna talk about what the objectum one would be here and maybe I'll actually do it someday:#1. by realistic i mean the object does not display any sort of sentience or anything (I'm objectix so thats what I'm representing)#2. it would just be a fairly everyday usual situation #but described from the pov of someone objectum interacting with an object they love #and maybe them feeling closer to the object over time because of things they do and experience #there might also be a bit of conflict (& happy ending) but that wouldnt be the focus #i dont even know what object it'd be tho. maybe a sword or dagger or another type of blade #but i also like the idea of it being something they'd work with or use practically #so idk yet #also yeah i guess this is me low-key coming out as objectix here lol #remember later #objectum

I don't remember what the actual solve ended up being (it was more complicated than simply marking everyone present and accounted for at the start of the quest... obviously) but it might be something I can package up and throw up real quick as a low-effort mini mod. since I am posting low-effort mini mods now.

A game's difficulty can be expressed by the relationship between the effectiveness of how it teaches you, and the intensity of the punishment for failure.

If a game teaches you very well how to play it, but punishes you heavily for failure, we could articulate its difficulty on par with a game which doesn't teach you how to play it well but doesn't punish you much for failure.

Souls games are games with a high intensity in its punishment for failure, and does not teach its mechanics well. As such, it requires a lot of punishing trial and error to overcome.
