Last year My family and I were hunkered down at my aunt's house, listening to the Maria howling all around us, fearing the worst for ourselves and the island as the winds striped the trees bare and left mere rubble where once homes stood. So many people lost so much, and so many lives were lost between then and today, so many deaths that could have been prevented with better support from the mainland. Today we stand stronger than ever and united, as we join together to bring Our Home back.
