Remove Your Mask
We all wear masks on our bad days. Maybe your mask is a well-timed “I’m great. How are you?” or “Have a great day.” Maybe your mask is dressing up nice. Maybe your mask is laughing at everyone’s jokes. Whatever your mask is, remember that no one needs to wear a mask all day every day. Remember it’s okay to show the person behind the mask no matter how horrible you think it is. You are worth while and you deserve to be seen as the real you. So hang up your mask and be yourself for a while. It’s much less exhausting.
PLEASE someone help me find a song that has the part at :42 Its not the lyrics, its the way its song, the way it goes down and then up just that small part Not the quitar, the way its sung ITS DRIVING ME NUTS
Our true self lies deep within. So many of us put on a mask to hide who we really are - for so many reasons. We should start looking in the mirror more often. Not at our reflection, but at what is truly there. See ourselves for who we really are - kind, caring, compassionate - the list goes on. When you struggle to see what a strong person you are, look at what you have overcome to get to where you are today. Look at all the obstacles you have had to climb over to reach your goals and dreams. Look at your inner strengths and what you have had to deal with, on all levels, during your life so far. We are all unique individuals and we can all help ourselves to become the person that are meant to be. YOU ARE AWESOME!!

Jill Orr’s ‘The Sleep of reason produces monsters’ (2002).
The main character Hikari from my discontinued web comic Ittekimasu, of which about 6 pages were ever made. Then I stopped because I realized that the main character was whiny and I hated her.
