ALSOOOO maybe romano spain and ancient Rome with a sweet and gentle partner 😢😢😢 only if u want I should have put it in the last ask
No it's better that you split up the asks, I only take three at a time if it's not like an 'All Hetalia' or "All Axis/Allies (minus 1P France) sort of deal."

Romano w/ A Gentle Partner
🍅 The whole "You're the only good thing in my life" hits so much harder when his partner is so 'perfect' for him all of the time. He's hopelessly hooked.
🍅 He's similar to his brother in the regards of seeking you out all the time for affection. He likes the reassurance that he's never too much for you to deal with.
🍅 He doesn't mind if you're nice to other people at the same level as you are to him, nice people do end up helping a lot of people. At least that's his mentality about it, he just gets pissed when people get a little 'crush' on you.
🍅 People who mistreat you in any way are going to have to deal with being screamed at by him until you can manage to remove him from the situation entirely.
🍅 He always is left wishing he could spend all of his time with you, just ditch whatever work that he had to do just so he could stay next to you.
🍅 He's more likely to join you on outings with friends than his brother would. He'll want your hand in his hand the entire time.
Spain w/ A Gentle Partner
🫏 He wouldn't be all that different than he usually is when he's dating someone who's so soft.
🫏 It's just how he treats the people who mistreats you or use you that's the main difference, because he gets that quiet rage bubbles up fast and burns bright. It's better that you pull him away from the situation so he can cool off. Then all of his attention is on you again.
🫏 He wants to take care of you, rather than you take care of him. The kindest people need time to rest too, he knows that very well.
🫏 He'll think about you while you're away from him, like a song stuck in his head. You just never really leave his mind.
🫏 Your attitude is just another reason for him to smile whether you're around or not.
2P Rome w/ A Gentle Partner
🏹 He's got some severe trust issues, so it might take years for him to understand that the sweetness you portray towards him is actually genuine. Then he's just completely confused of how you could even exist and also still want him of all people.
🏹 He really honestly wants to know how your brain works, not even a scientic way but in a 'what's wrong with you?' sort of way. It doesn't mean he doesn't like you any less.
🏹 It doesn't mean he's not going to put a tracker on you or check on you when you least expect it (he'll be pestering you a lot to make sure you're actually doing what you told him you'd be doing). He's still extremely paraniod that he's going to have a romantic rival pop out of the woodwork.
🏹 He's going to just pick you up and carry you away from people trying to use your nature against you. He's not he's going to let you put up with you being mistreated. Depending on how serious it was, someone might also be eating a bullet.
🏹 He holds onto you tight when he's asleep, so that you're close enough to hear his heart beat.
taglist: @reincarnated-star we got two of your guys on here.
some art by my friend @vampires-at-your-door <333 been thinking abt them fr they’re so silly and fucked up sigh
and hello again everyone,, I’m somewhat back as winter break for me is starting really soon.
I’ve been reading up a little on indo-Roman trade relationships (and IndRome in general) and tbh it’s funny to me. Like in hetalia terms Rome really wasted all of his money on silk, ivory, textiles, spices etc… much to the complaint of some (including Remus who was the most bitchy about it) but Rome didn’t care sigh he wanted him so bad (and his goods ofc) 💔
Rome is someone to me that is incapable of maintaining a romantic relationship because at the end of the day it all comes down to how it benefits him. I think he more or less had an infatuation with India because of what he represented (wealth and power among other things) and his riches. Rome is someone who chases glory, so of course he was going to chase after India next. I could say so much more but I’m tired so maybe later FSHDHDHD
Poor Remus that his older brother cares more about a man he hasn’t seen for the longest time than him LOL. Bro had every reason to become a villain /hj
(Edit: did some minor word changes and changed the first pic to the completed version <3)
2 requests for the same character! Remus Vargas and Agrippina general headcanons!

2P Rome General Headcanons
🏹 Remus Vargas, always appears to be in his late 40s to early 50s
🏹 He's got a rather sad resting expression in comparison to his grandkids, like all he feels when he's zoning out is regret. (In reality he's just really tired all of the time, all the sleepless nights finally catching up to him.)
🏹 He knows of the story his name was based off of, and it annoyed the hell out of him to know that he was named after a man that died in said myth.
🏹 He spent a lot of his childhood bedridden, as he was constantly 'sick'. He'd only learn afterwards that he was being constantly poisoned by people he considered family, and they only stopped because he gained immunity from it.
🏹 He cracked mentally after learning that, seeing most people as a threat. It's pretty safe to say he has some serious trust issues even now. He wanted to be in control of something like how his 'family' had control over his life, and he found that in war. The power and control he obtained from it felt like peace in comparison to anything else he'd experienced.
🏹 He spent a lot of his 'adult' years waging war on bloody battlefields untl he was finally stripped of his power in 476 AD, after that he just wandered around Italy blind working as a mercenary for the highest bidder to take care of his 'children'. After they disappeared to have their own lives, he kept working for himself up until the early 18th century where we started work under the Cosa Nostra.
🏹 An altercation between Remus and his boss happened over money, and the arguement got him so pissed of he vowed to destroy each of the twenty four families connected to the Cosa Nostra himself. He became the face of a nameless organization that quickly overwhelmed Italy. Some people call them the 'rogue Cosa Nostra' some just call them 'the Family'. They have a lot of names based on who's talking.
🏹 His grandchildren were basically dumped onto him. He pushed his the boys to their limits so no one would ever screw them over like people did with him. Remus ended up mentally destroying all three of them in some capacity, to the point to where only one of the three are anywhere near a close recovery years after he left them alone to run his mafia organization.
🏹 All of his grandkids have problems with him, and he knows exactly why, he screwed up with them. That's why he stays in central Italy, in the city that he's referred to by governmental officials, Rome. He visits Luciano the most to see what he's done with his life's work, often feeling too emotionally constipated to even address Flavio, causing more pain to him. He hasn't even seen Romeo in what seems to be at least a few decades.
🏹 He loves his grandkids, but he isn't able to express it properly, which is what caused them to start hating him the first place. He thought that if he taught them to rely on no one and to protect themselves with no hesitation, they'd be better off than he was as a child. After a while he just found it easier to be hated by them, as he's not even sure he could mend hundreds of years of frustration and anger. It just feels easy to leave them with a large majority of his money and only show up once every few years just to make sure they aren't struggling. He'd still shoot anyone that insults 'his boys' in his prescence.
🏹 He's not very social, ask him to play a game of poker, he'll stay for a few rounds if you're betting money. He'll just stay quiet and listen to other people at the table, smoking, and nursing a negroni if you can't offer anything stronger. Despite not being very talkative people don't really mind him being around, which confuses him most of the time.
🏹 He's an extremely intelligent guy, even for his older age. He'll screw around with the newer smart phones just for the sake of killing time, using social media to keep track of his grandkids (mostly Flavio because we all know that blonde can't ever stop posting) and watch youtube videos when he's bored.
🏹 He has the strong scent of smoke and musk that sticks to his skin. Most of it being from the mix of some cologne he liked the smell of mixed with his cigarettes.
🏹 Despite his voluntary step down from his role as head of his organization, he still has loyal men that work for him, making sure that his grandkids don't die, and that he still gets a cut of their profits. He was very scary when he ruled with an iron fist, and he can be scary when people piss him off now, he'd just mostly mellowed out.
🏹 He has some charm to him, him being quiet and 'mysterious' (which is him just refusing to talk to people, and people taking that as him 'being a good listener') has had a lot of women (and sometimes men) chasing after him. If he even decides to get with anyone it's mostly for one night stands where he avoids where he met them for months after leaving them in the bed in the early hours of the day, paying for the used room so they don't come after him with a grudge.
🏹 Has an odd and often dark sense of humor that makes other people uncomfortable.
🏹 It's difficult to be friends with this man, but you'll know you've won when he stops shooing you away and actually starts talking to you. You might have to follow him around for months to break him, which will make him paranoid until he has someone do a background check and sees you're harmless.
🏹 Has a hard time understanding the 'happy family dynamic'. Watching families with kids walk past seeming happy as can be just really messes with his head. Learning that's what 'normal' families are supposed to be like just makes him feel bitter.
🏹 5'10, will put his hand in your hair and ruffle it absentmindedly if you're shorter than him. It's annoying sometimes, but it's an act of affection that he doesn't even know he's doing half the time, this is something he does to close friends and his partner if you don't tell him to knock it off.
🏹 In terms of dating (when he's serious about someone), his behaviors are similar to Luciano's, with the addition that he shows up where ever you are sometimes to check if you're really doing what you said you were.
🏹 He has a cat that lays on his chest when he lays down. Sometimes when he pisses the little guy off, he'll lay across Remus's face and try to suffocate him when he's sleeping.

THERE’S MORE. I’m just…..saving them for later…. 🤫
Will talk about a ship with Remus sometime in the next few days and also Phoencia and Minoan (MELRIADNE FANS WILL EXIST IT WILL BE MORE THAN JUST ME AND FERN)
Hi guys sorry I died so Remus’s lover is basically my friend @/fertaine’s oc of the Huns. Yeah they did bad shit to the Romans but the thing is it started as a crack ship 💔 they’re really freaky and weird and toxic yaoi and cannot exist without each other. They give each other the validation that they lacked in childhood 😇 and uh extra note Hun used to represent Northern Xiongnu and his older sister was Xiongnu who highkey fucked him up so bad. I’m still researching more so the historical side of him is very iffy, please bare with me 🙏
I’ll make a longer post soon talking about their dynamic! I js wanted to post this lol. I haven’t been burnt out anymore, just lazy, so I really apologise. Hope the few followers won’t kill me with rocks 💔
I’ve been thinking about making a new blog for my human versions of my OCs! They’re actually my main focus at the moment with Remus (or his human name Antony) at the forefront and it’d be nice to talk about them. The story is basically my human version of Rome, Remus, and Agrippina in a mid 1900s New York setting after they emigrated from Naples during WW2 (Italian immigration to the u.s has been my fixation for some time 😭)
Art of Remus above is mine and the drawing of Hun is @/fertaine’s
