and hello again everyone,, I’m somewhat back as winter break for me is starting really soon.

I’ve been reading up a little on indo-Roman trade relationships (and IndRome in general) and tbh it’s funny to me. Like in hetalia terms Rome really wasted all of his money on silk, ivory, textiles, spices etc… much to the complaint of some (including Remus who was the most bitchy about it) but Rome didn’t care sigh he wanted him so bad (and his goods ofc) 💔

Rome is someone to me that is incapable of maintaining a romantic relationship because at the end of the day it all comes down to how it benefits him. I think he more or less had an infatuation with India because of what he represented (wealth and power among other things) and his riches. Rome is someone who chases glory, so of course he was going to chase after India next. I could say so much more but I’m tired so maybe later FSHDHDHD

Poor Remus that his older brother cares more about a man he hasn’t seen for the longest time than him LOL. Bro had every reason to become a villain /hj

Hi guys sorry I died so Remus’s lover is basically my friend @/fertaine’s oc of the Huns. Yeah they did bad shit to the Romans but the thing is it started as a crack ship 💔 they’re really freaky and weird and toxic yaoi and cannot exist without each other. They give each other the validation that they lacked in childhood 😇 and uh extra note Hun used to represent Northern Xiongnu and his older sister was Xiongnu who highkey fucked him up so bad. I’m still researching more so the historical side of him is very iffy, please bare with me 🙏

I’ll make a longer post soon talking about their dynamic! I js wanted to post this lol. I haven’t been burnt out anymore, just lazy, so I really apologise. Hope the few followers won’t kill me with rocks 💔

I’ve been thinking about making a new blog for my human versions of my OCs! They’re actually my main focus at the moment with Remus (or his human name Antony) at the forefront and it’d be nice to talk about them. The story is basically my human version of Rome, Remus, and Agrippina in a mid 1900s New York setting after they emigrated from Naples during WW2 (Italian immigration to the u.s has been my fixation for some time 😭)

Sidon, Byblos and Assyria are relatively new ocs of mine! I’ll talk about the Phoenicia siblings first

Needless to say, they honestly kind of hate each other, but they work together when it’s necessary. Sidon is cocky and brash, Byblos is introverted and a tsundere, and Tyre is definitely the level headed one of the group, yet they’re all pretty jealous and envious over both major and petty things. They’re always competing but they’re united over the fact all their lives they’ve been controlled by a major power. Egypt (and when I talk about her I’m referring to an oc named Amunet. Canon a. Egypt to me is Ptolemaic Egypt) was essentially their sugar mommy and Sidon and Byblos were always sucking up to her, so it was disappointing when the Bronze Age collapse happened, but at least they got to thrive (because their paid off the sea peoples)! Nowadays in the afterlife they inconveniently find themselves paired together—and that’s fine, really, since they’re the only ones allowed to make fun of each other. Anyone else will try and fail miserably. HASHTAG I LOVE DYSFUNCTIONAL SIBLINGS

As for Assyria (who I have less hcs about but have a general gist of) everyone hates him. He’s in love with his own reflection and his head is stuck far in his ass to the point of no return. He became the big bad bully of Mesopotamia because he got bullied himself by larger powers in his childhood and yk eventually got people to form an Assyria hate group #goals. At least his didn’t overreact, am I right!! Anyways, he over exaggerates everything and would’ve been a great soap opera actor, but in the afterlife he’s mostly just lounging about and pretending he still has some form of glory. There isn’t a single thought in his head… think of him as the country version of Seth Rollins (/aff)
