Exodus Demo - The Lady

Play the first section of my game! For free! In browser! Works for PC and Mac :) Another project I've been nipping away at. I hope before June a full demo (sounds counter intuitive) will be avaliable with sections about this long for each of the three routes.

Exodus is a horror visual novel set in a fantasy 1610 where there are more beasts than just man and animal...

(this demo isnt intense or gorey at all, i needed it to be pretty clean as my big final project so no as intense as I hope to make the full thing)

UPDATES ON THE DEVELOPMENT SO FAR!

Mod Brooke here! for the past month or two i’ve been rewriting the whole game since we decided we were gonna use REN.PY instead of RPG Maker, so sorry for the lateness on that! Unlike RPG Maker, REN.PY is heavily based on code (mostly python as far as I know) so i had to adjust and learn how to deal with that sorta thing! To be honest, when hearing that I’d have to learn a whole new coding language just to make this game, i was tempted to stick with RPG Maker. but maaannn I’m glad I didn’t. The graphics are a ton better than rpg maker, and on top of it it can also be available on Mac for Mac users!!!!

Game Progress Update (6/21/25)

Lately, we have been learning a lot about game design, storytelling, and coding. The game's demo has made significant progress, and we have been doing so much to try to make our game as enjoyable and unique as possible.

We could yammer on and on about how much fun, stress, and excitement this game has caused, but for now, we'll leave you with a sneak peek of a cgs that will appear in the demo.

As renpy continues to make me want to bash my head against the monitor, some good news did happen today our artist gave us drafts for the demo cgs. Let's just say our artist did not play around with the delivery. I was literally screaming for joy. I can't wait to see what the color versions look like when they are done.
