Is there any chance at all of this game getting finished in the future? I will admit to being very (perhaps more than needed) exited about it when i first found out.. even a shorter version or something would be awesome! Either way, hope life n stuff is going well for you :)

Hello its been 2 years now since you posted and I would like to ask, what would've happend in other chapters and would you consider making a tumblr ask blog based on love triangle?
Well, honestly I didnt have the entire story fleshed out like I wanted to, so that was a big factor in the ceasing of the development, but my plan for the ending wasn't going to be like any other dating sim. He is manipulative, and the plan was you end up in the mystery shack, work there for the summer, and in the process get manipulated into making the portal for bill without even your knowledge of it. At the end, you would have had to choose between two things: your mortality or the demon you shook your hand with. A lot of people would love to shake that hand and go with a demon, but being in the process of manipulation despite you spending time with him and getting closer is something not a lot of people play around when it comes to bill.
That being said, my Bill muse DID have an ask blog. Or well, rp blog. Between roleplaying him for three years straight as well as other personal stiff, I don't play him anymore. Heck, I'm a sonic fan now. Didn't expect I'd be saying that years later today.
But I do appreciate these asks, guys. I'm not active here anymore, but I do see em (and sorry for waiting until NOW to really answer lmao). Thanks so much for seeing this quirky game launch off the way it did
Hey guys. It's been awhile.
As you all may know, I've been pretty busy since I've started my job over a year ago. Almost two, in fact. I'm actually moving up to a MIA (manager in training) now. So that's good.
However.... What's not good is... this. When I started this I had no idea what I was doing. And well, I still don't. I know more than I did before this passion project, but ultimately I ended up way too ambitious for it, resulting in this hiatus. A hiatus so long that I've moved on from Gravity Falls. So due to that...
I will be ending the project.
Some of you are probably not surprised by this. I had a Bill blog that ended up the same way for the same reason, and I've finally decided to close the book on this project as well. I know this will be disheartening for some of you, if not most of you, but it's just something I've tried and can't continue with.
For all of you who’ve been with me these past 3 years, thank you. I never thought I would have been able to believe in myself the way you guys have believed in me. Hell, I wasn’t sure if making a game on a crummy computer like mine was possible. But you guys helped make it possible. And for that, thank you.

Heyo! Mod Brooke here.
I know development has been kind of in a rut lately, but that’s because the majority of the group’s been working on other things and has irl stuff that’s been preventing the development. Myself included, I got a job less than a year ago and it’s basically halted the development entirely. A full time job at McDonald’s doesn’t exactly leave much room for game development, much less even a breather. I tried to set a goal on when the next release will come out, but frankly at this point we.... Don’t know. Things have just been too busy lately.

Mod Foxie, sorry for being late on development but between life, work, and studying, I've not had enough free time to dedicate to the game right now. But we are trying our best for this project, even if it's in small steps.

Ah man yeah I WISH! Sadly neither me nor the crew know if we’re even allowed to turn it into an app game even if we had the resources to. It IS a disney trademark after all and they’re very picky about what fanart games and merch goes out there. Better safe than sorry I suppose!
NEW UPDATE LAUNCHED!
Sadly we're still working on the rest of the first chapter, but we've updated some things and added a bit more story to the game! There's also a new feature in there where you can have a bag to hold stuff to use for later puzzles! There's also better music as well as more unique backgrounds to the game now!
I hope you guys can enjoy the new update and I can't wait until you guys get to see the full first chapter of this!

HEY! So update!
I know you guys have been waiting for the full first chapter of LTDS But with a heavy heart I gotta say that we gotta postpone it for longer. Coding’s taken a lot longer than anticipated and considering how me and the other members of the team have jobs now, it’s gonna take a lot more time getting it up and finished.
So as of now we’re gonna estimate the release date until winter of this year. We might upload an updated demo soon since we’ve changed the gui/added some new content and music into the mix, but we still have a ways to go until chapter one is finished. Sorry guys!
Sorry if this is a weird thing to ask of you but, you guys should make a desktop icon file for the game. It's really super simple and the transparent profile image for this blog would look awesome for it. I already made one for mine because it was kinda bothering me that it didn't have one.
For the current demo that’s out it’s not available (since i was still fiddling around with it and all) but for the upcoming one it will be!
I just played love cafe and Lovetriangledating sim and I absolutely ADORE it. I can tell you guys worked really hard on it, so great job and I'm looking forward and what you have in store for us in the future

I actually did this yesterday. I didn’t post it then because, my mom wanted me to sleep already.

Regarding Love Triangle Development Applications!
We are no longer looking for Writers or artists! We’ve got two writers and three artists working on the game, so we’re closing submissions on that.
If, however, you know how to code in ren.py and or python, we’ll keep submissions open regarding that since we’re in dire need for it. That’s really all we need at the moment!

AH YEAH! (AND THANKS OMG!!)
Since the last update we’ve been changing a lot of aspects of the game (i.e. adding more story, changing the GUI, replacing backgrounds, etc.) But one major thing that was setting us back was how to add an inventory system to the whole ordeal. We were actually planning on releasing an actual update for the game but because of the inventory alone we had to make the Love Cafe minigame instead (Since it was the anniversary after all)
But after several failed tutorial attempts, I (FINALLY) overcame it!

There are still MANY things we need to add in order to finish the first chapter, but we still keep things updated on the @love-triangle-dating-sim tumblr as well as our discord server!
