Guess I’m too used to hostility from the interwebs and read the tone worse. Sorry to be so hostile myself when it doesn’t help the situation.
I definitely understand where you’re coming from, and I admit that was also my knee-jerk reaction. You’ve been following me for ages, though, and since this post is making the rounds outside of our usual tumblr sphere, it’s understandable that people less intimate with my situation would have questions.
All that said though, I really appreciate you coming to bat for me when you thought I needed it. I’m very grateful to have your support.
Folks need to come off anon if they wanna talk shit, but cowards have to hide. Sorry all this is hitting all at once and around the holidays especially.
I don’t mind that person went on anon, really. I don’t know what their circumstance is to decide to do so; maybe they don’t have a tumblr account, or maybe they were anxious to send their message. It’s okay. I think they have good intentions and genuinely want to help give me advice.
Basically, I’ve been in the negatives for months; I’m trying to play catch up every time I get money but it’s one of those never-ending things where because I was in the hole, part of the money I earn goes to fixing that; then bills come around and I don’t have enough to cover everything since I had to fix the negative balance, and thus i’m in the negatives again.
I appreciate your kind words, and I’m really hoping to get good news by the end of the year / beginning of next year.

I'm fairly certain there was blushing in one of the Star Ocean games (I think it was Till the End of Time) but that is the only one I can think of. When I think of newer games and even consider moments a character might flush red from anger, I don't recall any dynamic color changes. Legend of Legaia was a 3d game that had blushing, but that one is MUCH older and they just had a cute effect of the character's entire body turning red.

you know now that I think about it....I don't.....think so. bc even in Persona they usually use emotes that are sort of hovering about the character like anime. Have to research
that’s so weird, isn’t it. i can understand not wanting to implement it in realistic looking games (cuz that would take some doing to feel right)
but the fact that it’s not really done even in more stylized games is so wild to me, since a character flushing from anger, embarrassment or a crush can add so much to the scene
